Are most hockey sweaters at pro shops a very thin fabric these days too? I was looking at the UMASS Lowell "sweaters' last month and they were so pathetically thin. And it still cost $120! No chance I was going to buy one. I'll just continue to wear my cheap school hoodie when I go to games. When I visit home in August, I'd like to go to Dinkeytown and buy a Gophers sweater. But not if it is going to be a cheap fabric.

I was browsing their website and I noticed that on the Mich St hockey page they had NIL player shirts for sale. I hope they can do the same with Gopher players. The more exposure the better. Not sure if they will have to partner with Dinkytown to do it or how that works.

I've been to the one in Iowa City/Coralville. It seemed to me 3/4 off the store was random Hawkeye stuff that seemed more clearance type selection. The rest was pro sports. They did have a corner of Gophers and Iowa State gear.
I'm wondering if the MN stores may have more pro sports selection than U of MN/local colleges.
I agree U of MN selection in local stores are disappointing. The Scheels in Iowa City has 3 times the Hawkeye gear than the Eden Prairie one has of Gophers gear.
I thought the Gophers options at Scheels was pretty robust compared to most stores in the metro.

The Gophers always seem to be step behind other schools when it comes to licensing and quantity/quality of products.
University of Illinois is having a jersey sale for the club team's jerseys. All 3 styles available (road blue, home white, and 3rd orange). I really like the orange with script Illinois across the front. Available to order through 10/14. It's a custom order meaning production won't happen until after the order period so they know what they're making - will take ~10 weeks to get.

Also, can I complain that a club team has a better jersey option for fans than a D1 hockey school team? I actually ordered the orange jersey since they're a club team and don't compete with MN, will be a fun conversation piece at the Frozen Four if MN isn't there. Our daughter is a freshman at IL so I've decided to support their club team. That said, screw Brett Bielema though.

I saw this posted by someone else on Facebook. Goldy's has these jerseys in stock. They are made by K1.The stripes are wider than the ones the players wear.
Also, the Dinkytown Athletes store has added more Snuggerud merch. So far its just Snuggy and Gopher legends hockey related merch.

They have K1 jerseys in maroon and white versions too. Look like the gold, just reverse the colors (but an M on the front). Wonder if that means they are not making any more of the Nike version then? The K1 are a little more roomy and don’t fit quite like a pencil skirt like the Nike ones do, they seem like a little thinner material than previous K1 jerseys though.

For those interested, the Minnesota Bookstore online has a version of the K1 Gold skating jersey available. It is slightly different as it is not a v-neck and instead has a lace.

They are pretty close. The Gold Country one has maroon all the way down the V neck. The maroon on the bookstore one stops when the neck opens up.

My youngest who is studying in Seoul for one semester sold one he was wearing (not even the same design as his says Minnesota) for the equivalent of $250. His girlfriend (Korean) who has a huge social media following and has made several videos from visiting Minnesota and wore some UM swag has sold other items for even more.

I think it means they are going to launch more hockey related apparel. They have 2 or 3 Gopher Hockey shirts now, so I'm not sure if that means more UW hockey stuff or more hockey related stuff for all of the schools.
