I will stand by @Cowgirl. I found a great Bills Mafia site (obv unlicensed). Went a step further, found an awesome "Bills Mafia" winter jacket NOT affiliated with said site, I guess based in Pakistan. Bought it. She sees something she likes, buys it. Period. F it. Similar with me.

Sometimes less is more. I don't hate them, but they're so busy which imho happens too often with 3rds. There's a reason why the original North Stars jersey is often beloved by even non-MN fans. Or the original Jets, or Leafs or whatever. A nice, clean and sharp look that doesn't send your eyeballs in 20 different directions at once.

@cowgirl Kyle emailed me over the weekend apologizing for the delay, and also sent me proofs of the three jerseys I’m waiting on for me to approve, so things seem to be moving along. He said his seamstress was in Iowa for the holiday weekend but he hopes to get them shipped out soon.
There was a thread on Twitter with several people concerned....pissed about the lack customer service and Kyle did respond stating several factors. Basically acknowledging he needs to get back on it. That said, I can't find it now so I don't know if it was deleted.
Anyone heard anything more? I have an unfulfilled order from almost a year ago, and I've received no response any time I've emailed (which I think has been twice over the last 9 months or so).

Not a peep. Been trying to get an exchange since April, because he sent me the wrong size (as in, not the size that I ordered, and had ordered that size several times before, so I knew what I ordered was right)

that’s frustrating. I went through that too. Will probably never order anything from them again. If I didn’t have a busy job I’d volunteer to help to get the business rolling again. Maybe one of the retirees here need a hobby? 🤔😁

The most disappointing thing was that I talked with him back last March when they were being responsive - he said they were done just waiting for a patch and they'd be going out. Since then I haven't heard a thing back.

Whoa. I have one each of the dark blue (Pietrangelo, former Gopher) AND a white (Jean-Sebastien Giguere, yes he was a Whaler for about 1/2 season). Both are beautiful.

I can’t remember what the heck I ordered or where it was from (pretty sure it was some kind of clothing); but I was sent a youth islanders hockey jersey that I did not order. The company couldn’t figure out where it was supposed to go so they told me to keep it. I sent it to Mafia Man cause his kid was a fan (if you remember that blast from the past). It was six or eight years ago, was fanatics even around then? If so it probably was their fault. 😂

Watching the Denver at UMD game and the OCD part of me cannot handle that UMD uses different sizes for letting for the names on the back of the jerseys. A four letter last name and ten letter last name take the same amount of size.
For two seasons 1984/85 and 1985/86 the Gophers two main goalies where Frank Pietrangelo and John Blue.
In 84/85 Blue played 31 games and Pietrangelo played 17 games (the Gophers played 47 games) 31-13-3.
In 85/86 Blue played 29 games and Pietrangelo played 23 games (the Gophers played 48 games) 35-13-0.
My first Gopher memory as a kid was my friend and his dad taking me to a game with my friend telling me the crowd will likely say Blueeee and that I shouldn't mistake it for booing.
Pat Micheletti had a pretty good season in 1984/85 scoring 48 goals and 48 assists (96 points) in 44 games played. How many more goals and assists would he have had if he didn't spend so much time in the penalty box? He lead the team with 156 minutes in penalties.

I have been trying to get in touch with Kyle for the past couple months because I owe him for two lettering jobs he did for me. I've emailed, texted, and nothing. I'd be more frustrated if I was waiting on a jersey, but I'm just trying to pay him! I do have a couple blank Gopher jerseys I'd like to have lettered, and I know Kyle does a fantastic job, but at this point I think I need to find another place to do the lettering.
His work is impeccable but at this point I don't think I would use him for anything. I think he's previously stated they have had family matters leading to delays, but that was months ago. If he is still not even responding to customers, the business is not a priority. That's obviously their choice. Just know that if you're planning to place orders. Might be wise to find another.

Does he have your money? If so I would contact your credit card company to get your money back.
Well.....he's at least monitoring his Twitter account. So he seems to be actively choosing to ignore people who are attempting to do business with him. That's not a good look for a business.

His post from Jan 26th where he says he spent "a ridiulous amount of time researching Warroad hockey history" indicates to me he has time to spend making jerseys.
The VMH guy is a walking excuse machine. He has blamed the manufacturer, the seamstress, family issues, and work for the delays. The way he has treated his customers is 100% the opposite the way it should be handled. Be honest and truthful and if you are over your head, pull the plug and refund the money. And to think he was once a GPL Podcast sponsor.

You may need to really push your CC for a chargeback. Theres usually a 90 day deadline but if you can show his none response to requests they will approve. If he gets enough chargebacks they will block him from accepting credit cards.

The crazy thing is the storefront is still open and it looks like they are taking orders. Should probably just take the site down if they are a year behind on orders...
I have no dog in the fight, but this is absurd his website is still taking orders. Everyone should be filing chargebacks.
Like @kelly-red said, credit card companies will nearly always side with you if it’s within 90 days of purchase. If not, you might need to do some more digging.
Vintage Mn Hockey was called out on X (twitter) about his poor customer service and is now on the defensive. He is not helping his cause with his responses...
