ATL-NE. BUF-HOU...it's not game yet.....
When you tell somebody somethin', it depends on what part of the United States you're standin' in... as to just how dumb you are.
60-75% of the money was on Seattle @ -4.5. Vegas taking a hit… lol!!!
It's game now...lol. I won't say the word, but.....

Despite the score, this was a good game. Holy defense. Love it.
Yes, I might be jinxing it, but SEA basically just outplayed NE. They didn't own them, they just chipped away.

The half time show with Bad Bunny was what I thought was the worst half time show ever

Big whoop… How many other Halftime shows have had audio malfunctions and other glitches.
Halftime is always hit or miss with me so just a whatever on this one. The Dunkin commercial was a classic thumbs up. 😂
“Good pace, a lot of north and south, or it could be east and west, I’m not sure but either way…” Wooger
Nothing that was as lazily put together as whatever that was. Dude wasn’t even pretending to lip sync for most of it.Well you could’ve watched Kid Rock’s pre-recorded show where the audio didn’t match up 🤣

The first half was boring and exposed NE on offense. Wud of been more fun watching Buffalo lose for a 5th time! 😉😂Despite the score, this was a good game. Holy defense. Love it.

Saw this somewhere, and definitely think it's debatable-
Are last nights teams the two worst teams to ever play in a Super Bowl?

According to this ESPN article, Seattle was the 3rd best team ever to win the Super Bowl. This is based on the DVOA metric. Even if you have questions about the metric, being 3rd of 60 possible teams means it definitely was not two of the worst teams ever to play in the Super Bowl.

both teams from last year's SB would beat that Seattle team by 3 touchdownsSaw this somewhere, and definitely think it's debatable-

Yeah Seattle had a defense that was on par with some of the best ever, their offense underperformed (and didn't have one of the best RBs in the league available) and they still put up 29. NE probably shouldn't have been there but it's not really their fault that Bo Nix got hurt.
both teams from last year's SB would beat that Seattle team by 3 touchdownsYeah totally, Jalen Hurts is an elite QB who would've put up a ton of points on an all time great D 🤣. Also Kid Rock had the best super bowl performance of all time.

i'd give it a reasonably confident no.
NE clearly was overmatched. Seattle was a pretty good team.
That being said, from an FPI standing NE was like the 9th or 10th best team all year (Seattle was 1). Combined FPI was about 9.7 or so (Seattle 7.2, NE 2.5). Last year was 9.8 between Philly and KC and year before was 17.6 between SF and KC with year prior KC and Philly (26.3). Last night kind of felt like Ravens-Giants (22 punts, 35-7 final where Kerry Collins threw 4 picks). The execution last night was terrible by both offenses with their QBs missing wide open guys multiple times and a LT for NE who looked like he'd never played football. It's also part of why I don't really get the angst Vikes fans are having over Darnold. He wasn't the reason they won nor what would've taken us over the top. Their defense was better than ours as were their lines and ability to run the ball. And we weren't as good as LA.
So while it was bleh, that was mostly because we had a not too uncommon one team who was way weaker who really only got there because the two best teams played the week prior and the one who made it lost their QB. The Super Bowl was LA-Seattle this year.

Mahomes got sacked 6 times behind a rag tag OL against Philly. you would've seen almost the exact same game last night though Mahomes would've kept it closer by not being as careless and scrambling.
Mahomes struggled because they were playing from behind. Seattle wouldn't have been able to get ahead of that team.both teams from last year's SB would beat that Seattle team by 3 touchdownsSaw this somewhere, and definitely think it's debatable-

Why? Mahomes threw a pick 6 under pressure in the 1st half as well as another one that set the ball up at their own 14. It was 10-0 before that happened with 1st half drives that went punt, punt, punt, pick 6, punt, pick, punt. They pressured him all game and said your WRs can't beat us while Reid knew he couldn't run against that front.
It's literally exactly what Seattle did to NE last night. I'm not saying Seattle blows them out by any means, but I'd expect like a 17-10 kind of game. KC scored twice on the backups (including a 50 yard bomb under the 2 min warning) to make it look like they were even remotely in the game.
KC last year basically counted on Mahomes to win every game late. they were 12-0 in 1 score games last year (which is a crazy number of 1 score games and even crazier to win them all)
That offense is extremely good with the MVP QB so not sure what your point is other than generating as many hot takes as possible? The Rams were also a historically good team and that offense was definitely better than the Chiefs last year. The NFFCG was basically the super bowl and Seattle won it. Seattle's defense probably wasn't as good as the 2000 Ravens but they held a good offense to zero points until garbage time and won handily despite their offense playing their worst game of the season (beside week 1 which used to be preseason up until recently).is that the defense that Stafford took apart for 500 yards?Yeah Seattle had a defense that was on par with some of the best ever, their offense underperformed (and didn't have one of the best RBs in the league available) and they still put up 29. The one time NE finally tilted the field getting Seattle backed up inside the 10 Seattle got out and made big plays there when it was still only like 9-0. I thought if Darnold made a mistake that would be a big momentum swing but didn’t happen. Sam did enough at critical times to help move the offense and Maye didn’t but that Seattle defense is for real it’s not necessarily bad offense when it’s playing against that either. I thought Vrabel would come out in the second half with a hurry up offense and try to get something going but nope. Playing from behind against Seattle is not a good formula and NE just couldn’t get that big play on offense or defense to swing things around momentum wise.
“Good pace, a lot of north and south, or it could be east and west, I’m not sure but either way…” Wooger

a bit of both. Maye also missed multiple open throws (the early pressure clearly rattled him) and then held the ball too long additional times. Definitely not his best game but MacDonald schooled them in how he schemed this one up with how he brought pressure that NE was very clearly not expecting.
They found out that NE’s guards had a tell that tipped their plays. Tough to adjust your way out of that.
If having the QB who led the NFL in turnovers is having your guy yep Seattle has their guy.
0 post season Turnovers.
Sam will almost certainly be going back to the playoffs for a 3rd consecutive season next year, 2nd with the Seahawks.
Vikes haven't gone back to back playoffs since 08', 09'. 3x in a row which they did it 4x, 97', 00'.
