Over the past four years the Packers are 8-9, 9-8, 11-6, 9-7-1 in the regular season and are 1-3 in the playoffs. Each of the last three seasons they have been the 7th seed.

Neither of the Packers or Bears were gonna go far in these playoffs if I had to guess and both teams were kinda lucky to face the other imo. Packers with this banged up O-line would've been horrendous to watch vs Seattle, the Bears could maybe beat the Eagles or SF at home but seem doubtful against either of the next two teams.

My gut is they keep LaFleur on some type of short contract or something but maybe a blown lead against a division rival forces change. I think the issues were more roster related than coaching but that was not LaFleur's finest game.

im actually fine with a division champ making the playoffs regardless of their record. And the NFL has it correct by reseeding each round. Look at the NHL. If the season ended today, the top 3 teams would face off in the first round and probably second round.

The NHL points system is fine. 2 points for a win and 1 point for an OT or SO loss. If OT was 5x5, I might feel different. But with OT 3x3 and ending in SO if necessary, the point system works. Personally, I'm not a fan of the BIG points system, but it is what it is.

If the bears play Philly I feel they are more than capable of taking out Philly who goes as hurts goes same can be said about Williams and when things aren’t going well hurts’ body language is contagious. Chicago ran the ball down their throat a month ago and if weather is involved it’s a nice offensive weapon to lean on.

A lot of pressure on Josh Allen (again) if anyone can come to play in the spotlight it’s him, I’d never count him out no matter how late in the game or the score. Jacksonville is hot and at home this is the must watch game today for me, I like both teams and kinda one of those matchups that sucks someone will be done. If cookie can do cookie things and keep Lawrence off the field with time of possession drives that’s a key imo. Should be a good one.

Yeah that system exists solely to create more perceived parity, ie being 4+ points out of the playoffs in November doesn't look like that much but with loser points it's damn near a death sentence because it becomes really hard to make up any lost ground. Good for Allen and the Bills, I didn't think they'd win this but Jacksonville didn't do nearly enough on offense against a mediocre defense to win it today.
I thought the jags defensive breakdowns at critical times that Allen took advantage of with his skill was the difference (other than the little miss). Buffalo has a top rated pass defense, poor against the run all year. Kinda played into the bills hand at the end. Wanted Jax so it’s go patriots the rest of the way.

Truthfully, what a game. JAX D did what I'd thought they'd do, and same with BUF. Trevor was the Trevor I know in key moments. Josh got his arse beat, and that it worrisome. Brandin Cooks has risen from the dead, and Shakir...one of the best possession receivers in the game, and is talked about by few. Under the radar.

The one OL worse than the Packers in these playoffs scored a whopping three points against a mediocre defense. Herbert is gonna end up like Andrew Luck if they don't figure out how to quickly fix that.

Rodgers deserves all the credit he's gotten. He's one of the best ever to play the position.

I think with Darnold that'd have been a possibility (IDK who Seahawks would have as QB in that scenario and if Vikings could beat the Rams). Rodgers at this stage of his career has zero mobility and isn't gonna do much against a good defensive front as we saw yesterday.
One thing I’ll say in Rodgers’ defense, Houston’s defense makes a lot of quarterbacks and offenses look bad. In week 12 they sacked Josh Allen 8 times and picked him off twice. Kansas City and mahomes couldn’t do anything against them at home on prime time either. The thought of Rodgers in Minnesota now after what happened with McCarthy? Was Rodgers willing to be the backup and groom JJ? Was the fan base gonna be ok with even one bad game from Rodgers with McCarthy sitting there and Arron coming off a toxic season? I don’t know obviously nobody ever will but my worthless opinion thinks he would’ve sucked in purple with that O line.
