First time Packers have held their opponent to 10 or fewer points at home and lost since 1991. 67-0. That QB was Jim Harbaugh.
The Packers are 1-3 when holding opponents to 16 points or less the rest of the NFL is 62-5.
Earlier this season people were saying Jordan Love was an MVP candidate it might help his chances to score some points.
They lost 13-10 to Cleveland when Love though an INT deep in own territory with just over 3 minute left in the game to set up the Browns only TD.
Last week they lost at home 16-13 to Carolina.
Tonight they lose at home 10-7.
And last week they did not punt once. Yeah.
When you tell somebody somethin', it depends on what part of the United States you're standin' in... as to just how dumb you are.
Between the O-line and LaFleur going braindead in critical moments there's a lot of blame to go around as far as the offense. Love did have a bad game or at the very least a really bad first half, second half he made some good throws that got dropped and killed drives. The Packers are 1-3 when holding opponents to 16 points or less the rest of the NFL is 62-5.

He was hurt and that would have been a personal long of like 58 yards or something.

That sounds like lipstick on a pig.
But, but, but now it's a pretty pig.

I don't know about other sports, but the NHL has full-time officials, and everyone still thinks they suck. I don't know that making them full time officials would change much.
I believe their pay is similar to NHL officials, but with a fraction of the number of games worked. And being they only work one day a week, they CAN have another job. NHL officials cannot, other than during the summer.
Hockey is probably 20x harder to officiate than football.I don't know about other sports, but the NHL has full-time officials, and everyone still thinks they suck. I don't know that making them full time officials would change much.

I don't know that having full time officials would change much for the NFL, but I think it's a really bad look not to. It's a multiple billion dollar operation.
The Seattle defense holds the LA Rams to 249 total yards (Matthew Stafford threw for only 130 yards) but the Rams win 21-19.
Sam Darnold had no TDs and 4 interceptions. The Seattle points were a rushing TD and 4 FGs. Two of three Rams TDs were on short fields (4 plays 3 yards and 4 plays 25 yards) after Darnold INTs.
This season Darnold has thrown 10 interceptions and 10 games. For his career he has 78 interceptions in 93 games. 10 of those games were with San Francisco where he only threw 46 passes total as a backup getting into games late.
Interceptions have been a definite problem in Sam's career. You can't beat good teams turning the ball over.
Seattle is 2-3 against team with winning records including 0-2 against the Rams and 49ers the two teams they are completing with for the division title. They are 5-0 against teams that are .500 or below.
Wins
Pittsburgh (6-4)
Jacksonville (6-4)
Houston (5-5)
Arizona (3-7) - twice
Washington (3-8)
New Orleans (2-8)
Losses
LA Rams (8-2)
San Francisco (7-4)
Tampa Bay (6-4)
Seattle has a good team but Sam needs to figure out a way to avoid turning the ball over.

Denver beat Kansas City 19-16 with a FG at the buzzer. Who had the Broncos 9-2 and the Chiefs 5-5 after 11 weeks? Kansas City is 0-5 in one score games.

The Chiefs are going to have a tough time winning their division but as a wild card they can still be VERY dangerous in the playoffs.
Kansas City has a +73 point differential while Denver has +65 point differential this season. Denver is winning the close games and the Chiefs are losing the close games normally it is the other way around. Will that continue this season and most importantly in the playoff? Time will time.
Winning the division is out of the question, IMO. 2 teams to leapfrog? Although how the Chargers got beat like a red-headed stepchild by the Jags astounds me...

Not NFL, but the Saskatchewan Roughriders win the Grey Cup. Montreal scored ten unanswered to make it exciting at the end.
The Fourth And F Its are flailing against the Philly Fanny Forwards.
I was going for alliteration there.
Good game so far.

Been waiting for the Lions to learn to just give it to Gibbs.

Eagles actually called for false start on a tush push 🤯
Game is over. PHI is that good. *shrug* hate it, but facts are facts.

That was a terrible PI at the end there, but it isn’t like Goff was going to suddenly be good with no timeouts and a minute or so left.
PHI pretty much suffocated DET. Nothing flashy. Just shut them down.

Would have been pretty crazy to let that go

PHI D line made it a tough night for Goff…he was off.

Not a fan of the tush push, but letting it go would fire up all the keyboard warriors.
Personally, it use to be a rule that you couldn’t push or pull a player forward. I would like to see it go back to that. A defender stops forward progress and all of a sudden a hand of offensive players come up and push… it’s not rugby. Stop making the rules so heavily pro offensive.
Same with face masking… how offensive players can stiff arm the defender’s face mask.

If and when (my $$$ is they will) the Chiefs make the Playoffs as a Wild Card, I would lean away from betting against them.
One thing I do not understand like in yesterday’s Viking game the officials were standing over the ball while the play clock was running down to 0 how can they call a penalty for delay of game if the officials were in they way not allowing a snap of the ball?
Aloha!

I don't know what play it was, but usually this is a substitution thing. If the offense substitutes a player, the defense gets "reasonable time" to substitute someone on their side. So if there was a late sub by the offense, they will stand over the ball until the defense gets their sub out.
The play itself is whatever, the fact that they rarely call blatant false starts on the Eagles when they run that exact play is the more annoying part. They had one last week vs the Packers that didn't get called but they did the same vs the Chiefs I wanna say and other opponents all year. I don't think that play would be nearly as effective if they started calling that.Eagles actually called for false start on a tush push 🤯

These Houston jerseys. They hurt. I like the helmet idea, though.
The Bills' D is not good.

Dear Sean McDermott
I love Jawsh. He's awesome. But don't take your cue from KOC on 3rd/1. RUN THE DAMN BALL. You have Jawsh, Cook and Davis (the latter having a great night). Rin the f*ing ball on that 3rd and 1.

Buffalo's lines are not good. They rely on their O out-gunning the other team. Think: Gophers hockey.

#79 (Brown?) for Buffalo, hurt, was a complete liability was night.
Apparently Houston is the number 1 team in defense DVOA, which I guess isn't surprising with their D-line talent.Glad I’m not playing the HOU D this week, Josh Allen was snowplowing points to them.

Kansas City was down 20-9 in the 4th quarter but comes back to beat the 8-2 Indianapolis Colts in overtime 23-20.
That is a huge win for their playoff hopes to get to 6-5 instead of 5-6.
Yep, I didn’t figure the chiefs would lose that one at home though it looked like they might for most of that game.

Down 31-7 Baker Mayfield is out of the game he got a left non-throwing shoulder/arm injury at the end of the first half so Teddy Bridgewater is in to play the 2nd half.
This is Teddy's 11th season in the NFL.
