I actually went and looked it up… after his stint in Chicago, he went to Buffalo in ‘21. Spent 2 years in Pittsburgh and came back to Buffalo this season.

In our league you can't get 10-12 points for a single TD. I believe this came into play once or twice before where a receiver ran back a punt and was credited for a TD as was the Def/ST.

think it was more him saying if i would need a stop either way in that circumstance (kick versus failed 4th down) with the packers being willing to be risky if they get the ball back down 3 versus more conservative if it's tied (ie won't go for it on 4th). You always want the opportunity to end the game with the ball in your hands and I think it was the right call on a short yardage play with a team that runs the ball incredibly well.
I generally agree with Campbell's fourth down decisions but was kinda surprised by that one. That said his faith in his offensive line is warranted it's one of the better ones in the league. Even with that unlucky trip it still worked.
@trixr4kids At the end of the day the odds were very high in his favor. Might feel risky but its a very calculated risk.
Lions have a good OL & a downhill runner for short yardage situations + a breakaway speed runner. But they’re beatable, crossing fingers when Vikings play them last game of regular season, that it has meaning for Division title. I think Buffalo Bills have good chance of beating Kitties week from Sunday, that would help.
@bearpaw28 i had this discussion with a friend earlier. lions have to lose prior to that and vikings have to win out leading up to it as they hold the tiebreaker if we win still due to win over the rams (as that is one of our losses). cant see them losing to the bears or the niners (with how beat up they are and their season spiraling) if they get past the bills
@upnorthkid I may be naive, but think Bills take down Lions at Ford Field. Realize Kitties will have 3 extra days of rest, but Packers lack a pass rush & Zaire is often injured, didn’t play & they barely beat Da Pack! Vikings toughest remaining game, other than at kitties is likely at Seattle. If Div crown somehow comes down to last game, Vikings have a chip, chair & a chance @North title.
@bearpaw28 I too like Allen to go nuclear against them. they've just found a way to win again and again but to win any 3-4 game stretch in the NFL is tough regardless of opponent. crowd will be real juiced up with the playoff birth clinched and inching closer to HF advantage throughout the playoffs so who knows. will be an awesome game though

Also doesn’t seem realistic the Vikings could be able to win out going into week 17. Even if the Lions lose to BUF and we beat ATL the Lions would still be in first based on HTH tiebreaker. I mean, winning out would get us a home playoff game but not likely excluding major injuries.

Man some QBs gets call that other QBs don't. The Rams have been called twice for personal foul penalties tacking Josh Allen and neither of them should have been called according to the former ref on the TV broadcast.
Both calls helped the Bills get touchdowns.
