Just looked it up, Buffalo does NOT have a heated field like Lambeau.

Classic game. Kudos to Miami for a great effort by a warm weather team in a foreign environment.

That TD pass by Allen as time expired in the first half might have won the game

That was one hell of a game. And honestly, between the Vikes and Bills games, this is what sportsball fans live for. Holy sh*.

2 incredibly memorable games on Saturday? NFL is doing it right. (Other than the garbage officiating in the Vikings game)

The refs were calling a sh*y game, but they were calling it even. They were just calling it tight, real tight. I think the JJ/blue tent was a bit over the top, but it conformed with their parameters.

I can think of 2 players that might find themselves in contract trouble after tonight.

B1G refs... corrupt, or just incompetent?

No matter how many times I see a receiver catch a pass and double tap their feet inbounds in tight quarters for a catch I am amazed.  The receiver's concentration to catch the ball and know where they on the field is simply incredible.  Even more amazing (at least to me) is it seems 95% of the time if given a chance they do it successfully.

#17 for WAS not lining up in the line of scrimmage to negate a TD may be the dumbest penalty I've seen since Tim Brewster coached the Gophers.

And NFL refs continue with the stellar weekend by going all in on Medo Martinelli (you're old if you get this reference!) and ignoring the holding/PI on the WAS receiver on 4th down.

Former WCHA ref.  If you've seen Youngblood one could argue the ref in the movie was modeled after Medo.

Interesting the NBC ref expert/commentator through the illegal formation call was as bad as the non PI call.

That play to end the Patriots game is certainly a head scratcher, and incredibly stupid given the situation, but I still think the buttfumble is more *facepalm*. Is it only due to the optics? Yeah, probably.

To me, the Buttfumble was an oops. This was a conscious decision to try and make something happen that realistically wasn't gonna happen, and the risk was NOT worth the reward. They were TIED. This was a bang your head against a wall mistake.

I feel like due to the craziness of the play that no one is recognizing the next level straight arm Chandler Jones put on Mac Jones before running it in.

Mac made a business decision.  Didn't really try to tackle.  Just sat down before Chandler Jones even touched him.

Just read that and was coming to post the same info... I was very surprised, actually shocked that his Steeler's jersey number wasn't already retired.

Thanks for posting that. I actually don’t know if I’ve ever seen that “as it happened” shot of the play. Seems like all I’ve gotten is 49 years of the ball hitting Tatum and the receiver and then cutting to the slow motion shot of straight on Franco catching the ball.

The question wasn’t really if it hit the ground. At the time there was a (really stupid) rule that if the ball hits an offensive player, he is the only offensive player who can catch it unless it then hits a defensive player. The question was did one of the 2 OAK players right there also touch it before Harris scooped it up. There’s no camera angles to show either way but the refs ruled they did and the catch was legal.

Miami is -3.5 hosting the Packers on Christmas Day.  61% of the public bet is taking the Packers at +3.5.  Though the moneyline is 50/50 with Miami @ -195 and Green Bay +162.  As for Minnesota and NYG... Vikings @ -5.5 with 53% and the moneyline has the Vikings at -220 (59%) and NYG at +180 (41%).  I would like to see the breakdown of the general public and whales comparison.  I pretty sure I can tell by looking at the spread and moneyline.

A fun bet is a 'salami bet'.  Take a set number of games, similar to a parlay and add all their over/under's. And bet on the over/under off the total.  For example on Christmas Day in the NFL...

GB/MIA @ 50

DEN/LAR @ 36.5

TB/ARI @ 40.5

Total @ 127

So you bet on the 127 o/u.  Keeps you involved all 3 games, similar to a 3 team parlay.  Though in a parlay your bet could be dead after the first game.  Here more than likely your bet is still going into the 3rd game.

Keep your stick on the ice...
