Whoever is doing the “let’s play hockey “ tomorrow has a tough act to follow, Mason Shaw was a perfect choice. If that doesn’t fire you up you’re not human. Can’t wait for tomorrow ?

Per LaVell’s column today Byron Buxton and Carlos Carrrea will be kicking things off this afternoon.

Personally I would have the Vikings’ tight ends up there  They would be epic!

I hope they don't get injured saying it. ?

I'm 50% factual and 50% sarcastic. When you get to know me, you will know which is which.

Might get swept by a bad team at home. Not sure I want them around the Wild.

The Wild can't continue to be owned on FO's if they want this series to go in their favor.

I thought Kaprisov was more noticeable in the first period than he's been a few games.  Seemed to have the puck more and created some time/space for himself & others.

Edit - Obscure first period highlight for me was Ryan Reaves stopping & lingering in front of the dallas goalie and giving a quick look around.  He got a wry grin as no one came near him.  Any other player would have been surrounded....

Dallas is looking for a reason to die, and the Wild have zero urgency to finish them. Same thing happened last year.

Have to bury one of these Grade A chances, giving hope to dallass is not a good strategy.

And a ridiculous "interference" call.  The puck was right there as he made the hit, how is that interference?

B1G refs... corrupt, or just incompetent?

I wonder how bad Spurgeon and Brodin have to be together on the PK before something changes?

That's a brutal penalty call. I mean Angel Hernandez brutal.

It's amazing that in a league where interference happens every 8 seconds, how many times the officials will be wrong when they do attempt to call it

Yep.  They let actual interference go, then call a clean, shoulder-to-shoulder hit with the puck at their feet.

Faber overthinks things and it nearly leads to 3-0. On the other end Klingberg scores to make it 2-1.

Are the Wild aware Game 4s are kind of critical?  1-7 in their last 8.  About to be 1-8 in the last 9...

Why do they have Spurgeon in front of the net on this pulled goalie situation? Maybe put a big body up front...

Wild have certainly had plenty of chances, but how does this game look without two phantom calls on Foligno?

Maybe Middleton shouldn’t be flat on the ice when Dallas has the puck in front of our net. Take a guy out at least.

Foligno was the only guy keeping up the physical game. All around not a playoff level effort. If Kaprisov had hit the net instead of missing twice it would be a different conversation.

It’s as simple as capitalizing on chances and The Wild did not. Should have buried them in the first.

Yeah, that's what I saw. Just no urgency to dominate a game and take control of the series

Basically there was 2 bad calls on us and they scored on both. There was 2 bad calls on them and we scored on 1. Math.

In tonight’s game?

Highly probable.

I'm not the Spurgeon hater as some are, and I could understand if he was on the point filling in for a gassed Klingberg or Dumba, but for him being the guy in the front trying to screen the goalie or tip the puck makes no sense, even to me.

It’s really too bad. Usually a team that excels at 5 on 5 will have the advantage in the postseason. Not this series. Crap is just completely random. I can’t imagine the players know what they can and can’t do at this point.

I don't watch a ton of NHL hockey, and after catching a period here and there of the playoffs I'm reminded why. My dumb opinion, but the NHL just isn't that interesting a brand of hockey.

High level NCAA or good state tourney hockey is so much more enjoyable for me to watch than the pros.

Klingberg in 25 minutes of 5X5 has been on the ice for 4 goals with zero against. Spurgeon is 71 minutes 1 goal for 4 goals against. Spurgeon seeing the ice in the last 4 minutes is terrible coaching
