Well, the Wild have taken all the suspense out of home ice in the first round series vs Dallas.
I just don’t like our PP with 5 lefty’s. I’d rather see righty Bobby Brink on half wall instead of Zucy.
Plus EVERYTHING slows down when puck touches Zucy stick, it’s more than noticeable
Zucy is always looking to feed KK then looks around, then back to KK
By doing that, he destroys the natural flow. We no longer need him on PP1 since Q arrived
The Wild PP has the 2nd most PP goals in the NHL since the Hughes trade. 1 goal behind the Oilers. Hughes has 20 points, Kaprizov 17, Zuccarello 13, Boldy 13, and Eriksson Ek 9.I just don’t like our PP with 5 lefty’s. I’d rather see righty Bobby Brink on half wall instead of Zucy.

Ek is the guy who kills the PP most often on that 1st unit. He just doesn't have the skill or IQ to play at that level, plus he's not great on faceoffs.

But Thursday's game is on Hulu/ESPN+, and then Saturday's Game is FDSN, next Tuesday's game is on TNT/TruTV (but won't be blocked because it isn't also on FDSN then?), then Thursday's game is on normal ESPN (not +)...
Oh, this fragmented broadcast system is so delightful. At least there will be a couple games on 45 I can pick up later this year.

To be fair all 5 guys on the ice gave up that tying goal. That looked like a team that was actually trying to lose the game the last 10 minutes or so.

The Wild are playing like a team that isn't really interested in going full tilt for 60 minutes. Given their current situation, I don't really blame them. I'm also ok with all the puck luck going against them for the next 12 games or so if it means that it will turn for the playoffs

This team without two top forwards at home needs to be good enough to beat an inferior team like Chicago. So far, they're playing like they have the past several games. Somehow, they have completely lost their swagger.

He has the skating skills to make plays like that but often biffs it in the end because his stick skills aren't at the same level. On that particular play he skated himself into trouble and then panicked on the pass.

Sure, it's possible they're coasting while Ek and KK are sidelined, but if they wait until the playoffs to flip the switch, they'll have to do it against a team like Dallas.

yeah small chance they’d catch Dallas and would it meaningfully change the series? Unsure. Make sure everyone you can is fully healthy so if they’re doing that over the next 5-6 games that’s fine

ok that explains it, I guess when his family was there for his actual 1,000 they had highlights and made a thing about it and thought that was the party but didn’t present the stick then at that time now that I think about it.
