Great start to the Keegan Cook era. #1 Texas comes to the Pavilion on Tuesday night. That should be a hell of an evening.
Going to the game Tuesday. Should be a fun one. Gophers have lots of talent.
It's kind of weird, but the coaching change re-invigorated my interest in the volleyball program. Looking forward to the game tonight.

Gopher Volleyball taking care of business against Utah State in the first round of the NCAA's. Won the 1st set and dominating the 2nd.
More than likely going to play Creighton tomorrow @ their building. Should be an entertaining game. Gophers lost at home to Creighton earlier in the season 3 sets to 2, but the Gophers have been playing a lot better lately.

That is too bad about Landfair. Perhaps she didn't mess with her new coach or just wants to go win at Texas or Nebraska.
She can’t play in the back row. One dimensional player. Don’t think it’s that much of a loss actually, as weird as that sounds.
I have to admit, I was surprised she didn't leave after last season.
It will be interesting to see how Coach Cook does in recruiting, now that he has his first season under his belt. The B1G is incredibly tough to step into. On a side note, I watched the NCAA semis and final over the past couple days. Texas pretty much dismantled Wisconsin and Nebraska, the top 2 teams in the conference, to win the national championship. The Gophers will have to step things up to get back into that rarefied air.

Michigan State had a winning record in the Big Ten going into today but the Gopher baseball team crushed them 21-3 scoring in all 8 innings. They didn't get to bat in the 9th inning as the home team.
The Gopher Motorsports team took 17th out of 115 schools at the 2024 SAE IC event at Michigan Speedway. They were a penalty away from 7th overall.
The eldest kid drove for the skidpad event and took 4th which he said is the best finish ever for the school.
Their car and him in the racing suit. .
This afternoon on Senior day the Gopher baseball team was down 12-2 going to the bottom of the 6th and were down 12-4 going to the bottom of 8th but scored 6 runs in the 8th and 5 runs in the bottom of the 9th to win 15-12 on a 3 run walk off homer. What a way to send off John Anderson in his last home game as Gopher coach. Yesterday was declared John Anderson Day by the Minnesota Governor (which ended up being a 21-3 Gopher win).

Athletic Department doesn't care about the baseball program anymore at all apparently.
I’ll give benefit of the doubt. Coyle hasn’t been a terrible coach finder. I think he took a reasonable risk on Whalen and maybe Ben took a year longer than preferred to get it going. But I think our coaches have been solid.
Gopher Volleyball leading #1 ranked Texas 2 sets to 1. They are up early in set 4. Game is on FS1.
It’s early, but the VBall team looks much more improved. Need to keep building on this for a good season.

No, looks like it was between 2 pitchers. Gophers used 6 pitchers who combined for 241 pitchers he's in a 7 inning game. 21 hits and 14 walks.
Steveson (Hwt) lone Gopher to wrestle for individual Nat'l Championship. McEnelly (184) lost in the semi's in sudden death OT. Nearly had the take down and just slipped on his is opportunity
