Looking down from my High Horse
Morality Police
Not very objective
I noticed on the Portal Page for TV tonight it shows Fox9 but my onscreen guide says the game is on Fox9+ with a pregame show at 5:00.

Yep
Game one of the World Series is tonight on Fox 9 at 7 pm (pre game at 6 PM).
Gopher hockey pre game/game is on Fox 9+
The stats on College Hockey News now include time on ice. Although, it is missing some time overall. The numbers don't add up so take these numbers with a grain of salt and more about the order then the actual numbers.
Top Defensemen
Rinzel 16:11
Chesley 14:58
Top Forwards
Snuggerud 13:17
Huglen 12:08
Clark 12:00
Sweep!
Big-time shot by Chesley.
St. Thomas scores first but then Snuggy makes a good play in the offense zone to set up Chesley who buries his 3rd goal of the season.
1-1
Tommies scored first. Chelsea tied it up.
Falloon for the lead!
Falloon! 2-1.
Hulgen with a offense zone face off wins gets the puck to Rinzel who dances with the puck and then sets up Falloon for his 1st official Gopher goal (he scored in the exhibition games against St. Cloud).
Gophers 2-1
Something seems to have switch on for the Gophers. Skating a little harder driving more.
At the Bar and Fox 9 is showing the news….. WTF?
I have really likes how this team has responded to being scored on this season. There have been quite a few times already where when scored upon rather than the goal given up giving the opponent momentum the Gophers have responded right back taking the play to their opponent and scoring multiple goals.
Kurth! 3-1
Kurth with his 5th goal.
3-1
Three of the four lines have been on the ice for a Gopher goal already.

scoring depth from both the front and back is crazy this year. Another 3 points from defenseman already tonight
End of 1
Gophers 3 Tommies 1
Gophers started a tentative and gave up the first goal. Gophers turned it on and controlled the second half of the period. A little flurry by UST at the very end of the period.
Overall, Gopher showing they are the better team. Keep playing hard and it should be clwar at the end.
Airey makes me nervous in goal. I hope that changes.
@gopheritall he’s had a rough night. Little unsure of himself back there and at times a little lackadaisical

they scored when we showed up. 😂
And, no band, unfortunately
The 4th line guys last season
Pino 35 games played, 1 goal
Johnny Mitts 33 games played, 1 goal
Strobel 29 games played, 2 goals
4th line guys this season
Huglen 4+ games played, 1 goal
Nevers 4+ games played, 1 goal
Falloon 2+ games played, 1 goal
I like our chances to end up with ALOT more 4th line production this season.
Chesley scored 2 goals in both his freshmen and sophomore seasons. Already has 3 goals this season.
Kurth scored 7 goals in both his freshmen and sophomore seasons. Already has 5 goals this season.
In the first period
Shots Gophers 10-6
Scoring chances Gophers 6-2
Faceoffs Gophers 8-6
WOOD with the SNIP!!!! His 3rd goal of the season.
4-1
Wood definitely isn't the fastest guy on the team but he has a lot of skills.
The Kurth, Wood, Clark line has been unstoppable so far this season.
Reminds me a lot of Vanek when he was here
Luke Mitts with a sweet pass to set up Wood and he fumbles the pass. Time to bench Wood. 😉
The College Hockey News website still shows tonight's game starting at 8 pm so no score or stats are being shown yet. 😀
Koster has the primary assist on each of the last two goals.
Have we ever had a goal review go our way? Certainly not last year.
Rinzel goes top shelve picking the corner. His 3rd of the season. Kurth and Clark with the assists.
5-1

Lamb tips in the Chelsey point shot. Snuggy with the pass to Chelsey.
6-1

When is the Moore, Ziemer, Hendrickson line going to start pulling their weight. 😉
St Thomas started taking runs at guys. Shocker given it’s a bunch of guys who couldn’t hack it elsewhere
Rinzel with a SWEEEEEEETTTTTTTTTTT goal!!!!!!
7-1
Rinzel looks incredible.
exhibition at St. Cloud 5-1
vs. Air Force 7-1
vs. Omaha 2-1 loss (3 on 3 OT goal)
at Duluth 7-5
at Duluth 5-1
home - St. Thomas 7-1
31 goals in the 5 wins.
Out shot Omaha 54-18 in the OT loss.
The Gophers have played 18 regulation periods this season. They have given up more than one goal in only one of the 18 periods. They have 11 shut out periods and 6 other periods where they gave up 1 goal.
Late to this conversation tonight but the two Sam Rinzel goals tonight were amazing!!!
Should have could have called the Tommies for holding/interference about 20 times.
I'm only seeing the highlights but man we look good. And at least on the goals Jim Rich is really enjoyable to listen too...sounds like Frank back in the early Lucia days.
That Wood goal...so much like Vanek it's crazy!
That Wood goal, something tells me he has done that before. Not the best team play, but just clear out and let him snipe.
