Pegula is a hard place to play, especially for a team trying to find itself right now. I expect a split but a sweep isn’t unrealistic. Either way win Friday so we don’t have to sweat it out on Saturday.
Of course Penn State is first in shots 632. Guy Gadowsky will make sure to have his players shoot from just inside the blue line and the corners. As already mentioned a tough place to play. Close will have to be on his game, and the defense will have to block shots. The Gophers are a good road team. Need to stay out of the box and play their game. Hoping for a big Gophers sweep this weekend. It will be Fun to watch. Go Gophers!

Yah mo be there. Last time I was there, a freshman Rem Pitlick scored a hatty and the OT winner on Saturday for the sweep. Love beating PSU in any sport. We HATE...Penn State!!!

This is the most concerning part. Some of the things that are holding this team back can be taught but it’s concerning that they have had multiple games where they start off flat or disjointed. The thing is that the season isn’t even halfway over and this has happened multiple times.

The Gophers are clearly just being efficient and saving energy. Why waste energy taking a whole bunch of shots? Instead just score on every shot on goal it is certainly more effective. ?
