So will the Gophers sweep another series at the Badddgers?

@the-rube called a possible let down this past weekend vs. MSU on Wednesday night’s podcast. Which the Gophers pretty much dominated the play for 5 of 6 periods for the weekend. On paper this weekend @ wisconSIN has sweep… but if there’s a trap weekend for the Gophers this year. It’s this weekend. My heart says sweep, my brain says split. Lose Friday and win big on Saturday. Would really like to be proven wrong.

No matter how bad the Badgers are at times recently, they always seem to win at least one game against us. I’d like to see the Gophers get the clean sweep on the season and really get rolling down the final stretch.

With no games next weekend MN will be so sick of practicing & scrimmaging against each other they will anxious to take out some frustration against the pukes.

People on here tried to be nervous the last time we played Wisconsin. This isn’t a trap series. Wisconsin is bad and the Gophers will whip their asses just like they did in December.
The Badgers don’t have the talent nor do they even match up well against the Gophers. The Gophers will have plenty of motivation for Wisconsin.
Enjoy the show. Seriously, buy tickets and drive to Madison. It’s a great time!

I rarely expect a road conference sweep and perhaps this will bite me in the arse, but I expect the Gophers to handle UW this weekend. Perhaps not by 4 goals both nights but outside of UW getting an early lucky goal the Gophers are going to dominate.
Wisconsin will play us tough but I feel like we sweep. Friday will be a 5-3 frustrating win and Saturday will be a 6-1 cake walk.
If we were playing this weekend I might be more inclined to say split but they’re coming off a bye week so they’ll be hungry and focused up.

There's no guarantee that we'll still be #1 in the polls next week. I stopped paying much attentions to polls awhile back, but as a man of superstitions, I can respect your concern about a curse. I guess we should hope Quinnipiac or BU have a dominant weekend during our bye.

If it was the same person, I saw him as well. And probably was, cause he was standing in the concourse right above your section. And he was totally decked out in wisconSIN crap. Head to toe. Also saw your token UND fan at a Gopher game.

The weekend prior vs mich we saw a group of very confused folks - there was one person in an ugly helmet jersey, but two in red wings, one in a blackhawks I think, and a sparty jersey. Wtf mate?!

I've learn when you play wisconSIN or OSU wear gold... Michigan or Notre Dame wear maroon... Mich. State or Penn St. wear maroon or gold.

I thought the stripe out for gopher football worked pretty well last fall. Not perfect but pretty good.

It did for football, it did not work for hockey this season and we’re a good team. Curious if people will show for the WI game.

It’s official. If we take care of business in Madison and sweep we’ll be hoisting a trophy by the end of the weekend. If Ohio State/Michigan lose tomorrow we’ll be playing for the championship Friday.

It is on Ballys Sports + or extra ( whatever they call it now )
BTW, Bally's has BSN, BSN+, BSN2 available to show games. Wolves are on BSN, and Gophers mens/womens hockey will be on either + or 2.

Also, on the BADgers Hockey schedule page it shows the game on Ballys Sports Wisconsin Extra, which is the additional channel for Wisconsin sports ( similar to BSN Extra in the Cities). That leads me to believe that the game will be shown on BSN2 in the Minnesota market. My guide has TBA for BSN2, but it is not unusual for the guide not to update the extra channels until later in the week. It is weird that the Gophers schedule on Gophersports has "+" and not extra, but who knows.

I am on Comcast and there isn't a BSN2. It shows it scheduled on BTN+. Very bad app but that seems to be my way to watch the game.

I have Xfinity. I wonder if it will be available on Bally stream?
The difficult part about this is that DirecTV no longer loads the STB guide more than a few days out and guide on the app/website either don't show BSN2 and BSWI Extra or don't have it populated yet. They should by Wednesday though. I wait until that day to set my PVR just to be 100% sure.
I'm guessing it will be in 669-1 for DirecTV (Bally Sports Wisconsin takes the lead when the games are in Madison).
Though I'd rather listen to radio than stream, it might be useful to know if games exclusive to BSN+ streaming are accessible to anyone who gets BSN through cable/satellite.
