I have completely rewritten the NCAA Transfer Portal page.
Previously it was basically reading a shared Google Sheet that was manually updated. Now it is fully integrated into the site.
Historical Data: You can load different years of the portal. D1 goes back to 2022 and D3 goes back to 2024. D1 stats are linked to the main NCAA stats. So if the player played in 2025/26 in the NCAA their stats will show on the 2026 portal. But if you click in to a player, it will show historical stats if they are available. We learned something new each year in the old google sheet, so the historical data may have issues here and there. But I think we are the only site to offer this kind of historical data at you fingertips.
Interface: The interface has been updated as well. Hopefully a bit cleaner. Stats and Filters are popups that look and operate cleaner. Instead of direct links to Elite Prospect, player links will open a summary card for the player with more info. It will also have the link to their Elite Prospects page. Still tweaking the overall look, so more changes will likely be coming.
User Supplied Updates: There is a new integrated form for users to submit payer updates. This link is in the main paragraph of the page. It goes through a process of finding and selecting a player and giving an update. When submitted, it creates a ticket in our admin allowing us to confirm and update that player directly. The previous form submission was a lifeline for D3 updates since there is really nothing out there for it. Now it just integrates directly in to the software.
Not a lot of people will notice these updates until next spring comes aaround, but it certainly is a fun offseason project for me. Check it out!
