While testing some things I messed up the database and had to restore. The most recent restore point was 2 days ago. SORRY GANG!!!! A lot of things are missing!

So I have been testing new custom plugin that allow me to delete old threads but all users will still keep their stats and rankings on the board. This was something our original board did great while keeping it a bit leaner. This board calculates all stats based on what is currently active. For instance, if I were to delete the NFL thread with over 4000 replies, a user like @the-rube would lose over 1000 posts in his stats and a ton of rep points too.
But there was a bit of an accident when working on it this morning causing me to restore. So sorry about that!
I am just working on things like this so deleting old threads does't impact user stats at all. Almost there!!! Hope to have it installed later today! Not sure what old threads will be removed, but at least if they do get removed that your stats will not be affected. So a bit of pain today for a better future! lol

It looks like you were subscribed to the "New GPL Schedule Subscription Link" topic and I was posting in that thread on the staging site a little while ago. Did you received a few emails that I replied "test"?
That original topic was lost on the live board, you would need to re-subscribe to it... But it is still live on the staging site, so I will stop messing around over there.

How did this happened?
So I create a staging.gopherpucklive.com site to do this testing. Get the plugins built that I am working on and want to test! What I didn't know is that I needed to "Rebuild Threads" in the message board admin to update the links. So I went to the staging site and navigated to the thread I want to test deleted so I could see what happened to our stats. But since I didn't know I needed to rebuild the threads, the URLs never changed to staging. So when I clicked to go in to a huge thread I wanted to deleted, I actually navigated back to the LIVE site and ended up deleting a huge thread.
OOPS!!!!
So I did not want to permanently loose that thread on the live site, so I had to restore from a backup point. Unfortunately the overnight backup never ran, so I had to use the back up from the night before.
You don't know what you don't know I guess. I have never really done a big plugin like this on this message board so testing on the staging site was the right thing to do. But I had no clue the links would not change like the rest of the site changes to staging. So I got sent back to the live site without even noticing it. LOL!!!
Lessons learned I guess! Yes I should have made sure there was a more recent backup, but I thought I was working on the staging site so there was no reason to back anything up since I wasn't working on the site. OH WELL!!!
