My stream started working just in time for the 3-goal burst in the 2nd period and I didn't miss any goals after that either.
Fun team to watch. Obviously AF doesn't have much to offer and the Gophers D/G weren't pressed very much at all, but I love the start.
This, can’t ask for much more out of your team for the first game of the year. Will be interesting to see if the lines remain the same.Team couldn’t look much better through 5 periods of the season so far. Really excited to see them tomorrow against some legit competition.

yesterday was pool with adult beverages. Today we are visiting breweries (we have a habit of doing this on road trips….😁). We ventured downtown last night for some cocktails. Reminded me of Ybor City how crazy it was on the streets. Tomorrow the strip and probably an NHL hockey game (shocking we’d do that too…)
my first time here. Awesome to visit but not a place I’d want to live.

You probably been to Vegas more than myself… for all the times I’ve been there, we tend to go to places off the beaten path. More known to locals and not on most “other” tourist lists.
I would trust Handyman’s list and I agree with him 90% of time outside of stuff that can’t be discussed on GPL and the Parrish brothers… 😉 Next time I go, I would pm him for his list. See if we have places that overlap and find something new!!!

If he has a sophomore leap in points that will really be something to see. Last season as a freshmen he led the team in assists. I would be willing to bet there hasn't been many freshmen defensemen who have led the Gophers in assists.

I agree with you. My post was more of a comment about how good he was as a freshmen and overall how good of a player he is. He is a big reason why I am on record as saying this year's group of D men stacks up well with the D group from two years ago. The D complement each other very well.
Yeah, I mean he accomplished what he did because he earned it. I don't see any reason to qualify the results.
Rinzel had 26 assists so with 9 power play assists that leaves 17 non PP assists which was likely tops on the team or very close to tops on the team.
Moore has 24 assists, Brodzinski had 22 assists and they both got a lot of power play time so they certain got power play assists too.

i agree with you 100% as well. my comment not at all in regards to points and moreso regarding control of the puck/play and just that next level of the game slowing down for a guy.

2nd period, woof. Not sure what game Pat and Wally are watching, but Omaha controlled possession a lot in that period.
That power play was really bad.
Omaha is doing a good job of slowing the transition game down and the gophers are gonna have to figure out a way to break down their D structure in the offensive zone. The one goal they scored I liked the setup of Rinzel working it from the goal line and overloading forwards down low, hopefully we see more of that.
