Embarrassing how the stripes are letting the Joker get by with what he is doing in the paint.

That was a BS foul, but until now, I thought the refs have been OK.

Biggest series victory by a MN Pro Sports team since arguably 1991 ☝️(In the Four Major Sports) 😉

Denver hit a basketball to go up 58-38 with 10 minutes to go in the 3rd quarter.

Over the next 19 minutes the Wolves went on a 54-24 run to take a 92-82 lead with 3 minutes to go in the game.

The Wolves with the largest game 7 come back win.

What a dominating finish to eliminate the defending champions on THEIR court.

This is a great team. To knock out the defending champions with ANT going 6 for 24 (2 for 10 from three) shows this team can beat you A LOT of ways!!!

They didn’t really say much about KAT’s knee that looked to get tweaked early on and he looked like he was playing through something there. Hopefully he gets it healthy by Wednesday

NAZ REID dominated the Joker in clutch time in game 1 and did it again in game 7.

There was only 3 single digit games in the series and NAZ came up big in two of them.

Don’t watch much basketball, but I do appreciate the postgame interviews with the Wolves players and they all credit teammates first. They’re almost like hockey players and refuse any praise on themselves.

Joker and Murray took 55 of the 88 Nugget shots and scored 69 of Denver's 90 points. They didn't get other guys involved.

The Wolves had 6 guys score in double digits.

4 times in this series if I remember correctly.

As I said, if the refs allow the Wolves to play D they have a chance.  If Denver goes cold for even a few minutes they can be put on tilt and that was what the Wolves did!

KAT is the MVP of the game to me.  When ANT was cold and pressing hard KAT took the team on his shoulders.  Him and Gobert knew Denver had no answer inside so they attacked the rim and changed the game.

KAT is the MVP of the game to me.  When ANT was cold and pressing hard KAT took the team on his shoulders.  Him and Gobert knew Denver had no answer inside so they attacked the rim and changed the game.

KAT and Jaden put the team on their backs tonight bigtime. In the first half those 2 were 9/13 from the field, the rest of the team was 3/25. Rudy couldn't get much to drop, Ant couldn't get much to drop, NAW couldn't get anything to drop. Jaden and KAT finished 15/24 from the field and the rest of the team finished 17/55.

3rd quarter came around and Ant stepped up big with a couple dunks and a big momentum swinging 3 at the end of the quarter to put the Wolves ahead and the 20pt deficit in the rearview.  IIRC Ant had like 9pts and 4 assists in the 3rd quarter.

The most impressive thing to me is there was no sense of give up or quit on the team tonight even when they went on multiple stretches where they couldn't buy a bucket (IIRC they had a 5 minute, 3 minute, and 4 minute stretch with 0 points in the first 2.5 quarters). The guys stayed the course, kept playing really solid defense, and eventually the shots started falling. They overcame some exceptionally questionable foul calls (to be expected from a Scott Foster game) and kept their cool. Meanwhile it seemed like every call Denver didn't get took them off their game. Credit to guys like Conley and Finch for their leadership keeping everyone calm while it seemed like everything was going wrong. Fantastic team effort.

Bring on Dallas!!

I was with some work buddies and one spent the whole first half ripping ANT because he was taking ill advised shots and really forcing it.  I replied that he just needs to take what the D gives him, drive to the basket and get a couple easy buckets to calm himself down.  A couple of steals later and he all of a sudden has scored 7 points out of nowhere.

It is going to be interesting to see how the WCF go.  Dallas was 6th in D in the regular season (Wolves 4) so this could be a very disciplined series.

What is weird is how easy it is to get Denver to stop caring.  In the second quarter when Ant was out resting and Denver made a bit of a run all it took was a couple of baskets by the Wolves and Denver looked like they wanted to be anywhere else.  When McDaniels hit the shot right before the half the game was over and not because it was like 17 Denver has the guns to come back from that.  No they just didn't want to put up much of a fight and were content to go home for Game 7.  I was watching the game at a bar with a friend (who hasn't watched basketball much in the last 20 years) and even he noticed it.

I don't know if the Wolves will win game 7, I think a lot of that will be decided by how much defense the refs let them play.  That said though in the games the Wolves have won Denver has looked easily rattled if a couple of things dont go their way.

full display of the word quit by yoke at the end just hunches over at mid court did everything but just lay down on the court and honestly imo there was still hope for Denver although slim hope, I was like whoa, guess I’ve not see that coming with season on the line. At half I was thinking good lord Murray is gonna get 60! I’m so fricken happy for the wolves, the hard core ticket buyers through the 20 years of horrible, and for Minnesota sports fans! Man what an awesome night and Monday!! Well deserved!

I can cut yoke slack considering he played 47 of 48 minutes. After the late rebound by Wolves with 40 seconds to go down by 6, ALL the Nuggets in unison quit playing…as they knew it was OVER!

I honestly think Finch's postgame talk with the team where he said "We wore them out, they were tired" was spot on.

Jokic played 47 minutes, Murray played 43, Gordon played 42, and KCP played 40 last night. Only Ant and Jaden topped 40 minutes for the Wolves last night. The Wolves defense made them earn every inch of the floor for a large portion of the game again last night. Denver rarely had an easy possession.

I was very surprised that Denver didn't at least try the foul game when it was a 7 point game with 40ish seconds left in game 7. That to me showed them quitting more than Jokic being completely out of gas. Like you said, it's not necessarily a likely comeback but stranger things have happened and with shooters like KCP, MPJ and Murray on the court they were definitely capable of being able to hit a couple 3s.

At this point, I can't be disappointed in however the playoffs end.  The Wolves end a 20 year conference finals drought, are the first pro men's team since the 2017 Vikings to make it to their conference final, and the first team to make it to a "best-of" series conference final since the 2002-03 Wild.

I think they have as good a shot as anyone and, on paper, should be in the NBA finals - but sports are fickle and I'm just excited to see what progress and growth the Wolves are making.

That said, WIN IT ALL!!!!

Perhaps he was just in Studio remotely for the Final Four Coverage? or he was thinking about last time he was in Target Center was back in his playing days?

It would be hilarious if Barkley just forgot about being in Minnesota.
