From a watching on TV perspective is there a least appealing stadium than Atlanta's?  Always seems dark and sterile to me.

Maybe all the fans are in lines at the concession stand. Atlanta has one of the cheapest, if not the cheapest concessions in the NFL.

It's not the fans, it's just visually unappealing to me on TV.  Even if it's a jacked up atmosphere it's still blah on tv.  Superdome gives similar vibes and I suspect it's the lack natural light.

As I was reading your previous post I thought Silverdome and as I started reading this one before I saw you mentioning it as well. Compare it to the Coliseum when they played hockey at the fairgrounds. Even the Astrodome for baseball and football.

The Colliseum will always hold a special place for me, it's where I scored my HS varsity goal. 😆

There may or may not be a plaque commemorating the historically rare event.

GB getting exposed. DAL with a horrific defense and an offense without Cee Dee? Man...

This is the DAL team where Russell Wilson and Caleb had career days, and now Russell is sitting on the bench...just saying.

This is what happened to Teddy Bridgewater. Dislocated the knee and there was nothing holding the ligaments together. There’s real risk of nerve damage, which in turn could force amputation. That’s why it’s in an air cast immediately and then one staffer had to walk backwards while Tyreek was being pushed in a wheelchair so his leg didn’t hit anything and cause further damage.

I think that might be fake news.

I believe you are correct. I've seen a couple articles about it, and they both contain egregious errors. For example:

Quarterback Jaren Hall was hit late after releasing the ball, yet no flag was thrown. The hit left him shaken, and the drive stalled.

Jaren Hall played three games for the Vikings in 2023. Was signed by Seattle prior to the 2024 season, and is currently out of the league.

An example from the second article I read...

The Week 4 game at Acrisure Stadium was a pivotal contest for both franchises. The Vikings, led by quarterback J.J. McCarthy, held a slim lead late in the fourth quarter. However, a series of missed penalties on the Steelers’ final drive—including what appeared to be an unflagged holding call, a possible illegal block, and a pass interference infraction—helped set up Pittsburgh’s game-winning touchdown.

Where to begin???

  1. Acrisure Stadium is in Pittsburgh, the game was played in Ireland.
  2. J.J. McCarthy didn't play.
  3. The Vikings trailed the entire game, so there was no requirement for a game-winning touchdown by Pittsburgh.

Edited to Add:

According to the second source I cited (justsportinfo.com), four referees have been suspended by the NFL for erroneous calls in the following games:

  • New England vs Carolina
  • Atlanta vs Washington
  • Detroit vs Cleveland
  • Pittsburgh vs Minnesota
  • New Orleans vs Buffalo

All the amazing play designs the Rams rolled out tonight and with the game on the line you get stuffed running it up the middle on 4th down to lose in OT?

Were U really surprised?  Rams Sean M being KOC’s mentor. These brainiacs consider themselves the smartest guys on the field…that tends to work for them, all the fancy play design, until it matters in the red zone…lol

Coaches are dammed if they do and dammed if they don’t. It was the correct play call. It’s not the coaches fault his front line couldn’t execute play to move the ball only 3 feet.

Coaches get way to much credit for a win and way to much credit for loss sometimes.

You might be right… it’s like playing cards or gambling. People outsmart themselves and loss. If you have by the book or not, you should always stick to it.

That DEN-PHI game lived up to the hype. DEN got really lucky at that non-call at the end.

And then there was one. Buffal-5-0 (c'mon, it's the Patsies). 😉

I don’t know how you don’t call PI there but it’s Philly so who cares. It looked like Smith knocked the ball out of Browns hands at the end.

Agreed. That was textbook PI.

As for the outcome, I'm conflicted. On one hand, F the uggles. On the other hand, after bountygate, Sean Payton can rot in hell.

I wish misery on any Sean Payton’s team. He should be banned from football. Plus I know 110% be would never coach for the Vikings.

Being real. He should have won MVP last year. BUF w/o Jawsh would still be a .500 team. BALT w/o Lamar? Well, look at today's result.

MVP = what would the team look like without that player.

For baseball, no Yankee should ever win MVP. They'd still be good, you know?

I don't say this often, it is rare. Buffalo lost this game, NE didn't "win" it. BUF was SLOPPY, I stress capital letters. Horsesh* football.

Example: the other undefeated team to fall today, the Eagles, they got beat. Yes, 2 key penalties at the end, but Denver won that game overall. The differences were slight, yet major, if you get my meaning.
