When games get really TIGHT at the end…Lamar Jackson tends to CHOKE…but the Bengals FG holder flubbing the hold on an OT FG attempt saved Lamar’s arse today, that’ along with Derrick Henry’s subsequent 50 yard run. Bengals are now 1-4
Cincinnati were attempting an overtime field goal for the win and the holder messed up the hold totally throwing off the timing of the kicker/the kick.
Next two plays 51 yard run for Derrick Henry (who up to that point had 14 carries for 41 yards) and then a Jason Tucker chip shot game winning FG on 1st down.
San Francisco up 10 going to the 4th quarter at home against Arizona gets out scored 11-0 in the 4th quarter to lose 24-23.
Arizona went for two after scoring a TD with a 11 and half minutes left to pull within two points and then kicked a FG with a minute and a half left to take the lead.
The Arizona defense picked off Purdy to seal the deal.
San Francisco drops to 2-3 (0-2 in the division, 0-3 in the NFC)
The NFC north goes 3-0 today (Lions on a bye) and is now 14-5 on the season. 13-4 when facing other divisions. All four teams have a winning record and the division has +133 point differential.
The Chicago Bears have the longest home winning streak in the NFL. They have won 8 straight home games. Their last home loss was to the Vikings almost a year ago on October 15, 2023.

Both are below avg receiver if they didn’t play for their respective teams. Both rode the shirt tails and systems of the future HOF QB. Though if I had to choose I would take Edelman over Lazard 110%.
Iowa State is 5-0 and ranked #11 in the current AP Poll so they are clearly a top development place for NFL players.
Absolutely they are...all 11 players that are active on NFL rosters. Compared to 27 former Hawkeyes that are on currently active on NFL rosters. Or we can go all time with 139 former Cyclones have made the NFL and 309 former Hawkeyes have made the NFL.
I'm not going to go on and on about the differences between these two teams because historically Iowa has been the better team and has made more successful players in the NFL than ISU. Right now Iowa State has the better record, have beaten Iowa, and beat the teams they are supposed to beat. I'm not and wouldn't encourage anyone to hang their hat on ISU as one of the top teams in the nation. They can win the Big 12 and that won't be saying much because look who is left in the Big 12 after the big boys left for the SEC.

I watched 5 min of this game and and Trevor threw two passes. Both hit his receiver in the hands in the end zone. Neither ball was caught. I wouldn’t blame him if he punched them in the face.

Their fans were saying the same, he was near perfect early on but got screwed by drops. That team doesn’t really play defense or have good line play so idk if he’s the guy I’d single out. QBs are expensive and like every league the contract amounts creep upward over time.
