As much as I hated how much Spielman traded back I think we should have traded back given the situation. There’s a bunch of players we need that are available. Not having a second round pick is killing us.
I hear what you are saying but TJ Hockenson is a great second round pick (the guy we got for the pick). Draft picks are certainly nice but known production >>>> picking somebody who MAY be good.

Im not faulting giving up a 2 for Hock, I’m faulting not getting it back somehow and they still might.

I understand analytics about player stats, but trying to put percentages on when someone will get drafted is hogwash. Pure nonsense.
Yeah being a math geek myself I hear what you are saying and agree with you. Was just using it in reference to a lot of people being surprised he didn't go in the 1st round.
I think it shows that people really have no way of knowing truly what teams are thinking. For a guy to be talked about as a likely top 5 pick (supposedly to the Colts at 4) to not getting drafted at all in the 1st round shows it's all just speculation that at times is completely off.
Win probability, to me, is the dumbest stat in sports. I don't need a statistic to tell me that a team up 5-1 in the bottom of the 9th has an 95% chance of winning.
If those lads Philly drafted pan out and the rest of the squad stays healthy, they have a chance to be dominant next year.

Since 2015 their outdoor regular season road records by season were:
3-3, 3-4, 4-2, 2-4-1, 2-4, 3-2, 3-5 and 4-2. Obviously they have a few playoff losses outdoors during that run.

It's huge. I am anxious (for a lot of reasons!) to see what the name of 3M's Health Care business will be. The spin was announced in July and I'm sure due diligence for whatever name their leaning toward is being carefully vetted. It's amazing to think the Washington Football Team went forward with the new name without more due diligence but then again it's the WFT....

Interesting to see who ends up on Hard Knocks this season. No one seems to want to be and there are only 4 teams that can be forced to be based on the requirements. Bears, Jets, Saints, and Commanders.
Lots of people seem to think the Jets will get pulled because of the Rodgers deal. I think the Commanders may actually be a late voluntary entrant. Either way, have to decide pretty soon.

Teams typically carry 4 RBs and only 1 K. Plus I wonder if that average includes FBs. And someone get Najee an editor.
A team does not have to have a GREAT (see: high-paid) RB in today's NFL. They have to have a serviceable one.
