Bills #1!
More importantly, Jimmy G out for season. That's a huge blow to the team that had become the most dangerous with the acquiring of CMC...
Has a team ever won a Super Bowl with their third string QB? Probably someone has?
A true 3rd stringer, no. Kurt Warner had very little experience ( maybe a few passes ) same with Brady, but both were considered the #2 guy when they took over. Other #2 guys with more experience have won including Doug Williams and Trent Dilfer.
Williams and Dilfer were starters. Was Warner a backup the year they won the SB? I’m he was already the established starter by then.
Trent Green was the starter, he had a season ending injury, Warner took the reins & the rest is legendary, believe he was league MVP & SB MVP.Bills #1!

I guess it depends on what is needed to be considered the starter. Sounds like Warner was the #2 when camp began, and Green was injured during preseason.
Correct, Green was injured during a preseason game (as I recall) & KW was #2 then accended to #1 following the injury…it’s in the movie too ??

This is correct. I remember that season, b/c I was a MN Fighting Pike (arena football season ticket holder, saw Warner play in that league) and said, "Yeah, the Rams will be fine." Did I expect SB? Hell no. But they were not stuck with some schlub.

WE HAVE A SCORIGAMI!
IND 19 - 54 DAL Final That's Scorigami!! It's the 1074th unique final score in NFL history.

I think the Colts need to work on their 4th quarter execution. ?
In the 4th quarter they turned the ball over 4 times and gave up 5 TDs. That has to be the worst quarter a team has ever played in the NFL.
Oh God, could the NFC be a replay of the 1975 MN-DAL game? 😉

Another #2 to win the SB was Nick Foles, with Philly.

Saints could easily have made the playoffs if they win this game, 1/2 game back and season split with TB. If they beat ATL in 2 weeks they would be 6-8 and own the tiebreaker over ATL. Terrible division, will def be an under 500 team that wins it and will host a playoff game and get destroyed by Dallas, but…
Tampa punts down 16-3 with 8 minutes left and gets booed at home. Saints act like they already have it won, give the ball back twice and the GOAT leads 2 long drives to win by 1 with 3 seconds left.

I have asked this elsewhere: If he's so good, why'd he have to come back so often? 😉
Now, I agree he's first ballot HOF, no doubt, instantaneously in upon the vote. Not GOAT. Not ALL of his comebacks can be placed on the defense.

I saw Warner play with the Iowa Barnstormers, those couple of years were so much fun to watch with him on the team. He came up short in two title games in the Arena League.

I had prob best seats in the house (that were available) exactly mid-field, 2nd row up (1st row was reserved for fam/friends/etc), and it was about $120/ticket for the season (7 games). Perfect. Rickie Foggie (YES THAT GUY) was QB for the Pike. SUCKED at home (0-7) but were 3-4 on the road. Unfortunately, it was Arena Football, and crowded market. That franchise failed hard.

I had this game on TV in the hotel while I was in Vegas trying to take a bit of a nap. I fell asleep with the Colts down 21-19 and woke up with them down 40-19. I was like "What did I miss!?"

Baker Mayfield: “hold my beer”
49er wipes out a camera man on a touchdown. Stands up, steps over the guy, neither he nor any of his teammates offer to help the guy up. What a bunch of arrogant douchebags.

I noticed that too. What a bunch of pricks.
KC giving up 28 to Denver (so far)? How in the hell...?

The Lions would be tied for the division lead.
I'm 50% factual and 50% sarcastic. When you get to know me, you will know which is which.
Makes sense. The lions just worked over a 10-2 team.
Maybe some day Tom Brady will be good enough to keep it close against Brock Purdy. ? Tamps Bay loses 35-7 dropping to 6-7. Tampa Bay has a -30 point differential playing in the weakest division. They are 3-6 in non divisional games. They've scored the 2nd fewest points in the NFC. For comparison Carolina has started 4 QBs this season and has scored 36 more points than Tampa Bay. Tom it's time to retire.
The Patriots would have the division lead, but are last in the AFC East...

They did, although if one realllly wants to put an asterisk, MIA w/o Tua.

Under that logic if the Bills win the AFC East it should have an asterisk since Tua missed multiple games this season that the Dolphins lost.

I know injuries happen, and I have stated that MIA is the team I fear the most in the AFC East. Hence, "if one realllly..." 😉

Tua is 3-14, 25 yds at the half. Wow. That is not good, not that I am complaining.

Unless you believe the theory that he knew he was going to lose his wife so he said F it and went back to football.
Big NFL day today. Vikings need to prove they are as good as their record against a crappy Colts team and clinch the division with a win, and BUF can all but clinch the division with a win against MIA (currently blizzard conditions; could be a great snow game!). A BUF win would give them a 3 game lead with 3 games left...

If the Vikings don’t win by 2 TDS it will be telling, if they lose then they are who we thought they were
Good team find ways to win, period. Doesn't matter if it's by 1 point or 28.
What if they lose by 30+?
This is unbelievable.

Colts are 4-8-1, their tie was against the 1-11-1 Texans. 10-3 teams don’t lose to these Colts.
Imagine being a Colts fan the past few weeks...

Was Allen a soccer player in college?
Pretty Hollywood that it didn’t start snowing until the 4th quarter.
Allen’s ball security leaves a lot to be desired.
