Here's to hoping the NCAA makes the right call and lets Dawson play right away. He left UNC in the middle of the season to come home to be with his family and has decided to stay home and play here.
Should be a no-brainer decision. But it is the NCAA so....
Ben also has a couple other visits from transfers coming up this week too. If he can land another one (or two) and pair them with the incoming recruiting class, this could be a very solid team next season.

Thiam is in the transfer portal so I think we can assume he's gone.
While I like the recruits we got and some of the transfers...I just am not sure I like the team as constructed yet. Still feels like the team is going to have struggles in the Big Ten and while we may have added "depth" I am not sure that depth is really effective especially at the guard position. We need one more shooter preferably a spot 3 point shooter.
The team will be better, and fun to watch which is what I really care about. Should do well in NC but I just think we are going to have a lot of the same problems in the Big Ten we did last year. Now, if the transfer guards can transition to the Big Ten better than I think they can and if Garcia can play like has shown he can then I could be way off. I like the system that Ben plays and how hard the team plays for him so I don't doubt we will compete in most games.

Rough news. Especially after injuring the other knee last season.
It feels like Fox is likely never going to play meaningful minutes for this team. They should, going forward, assume they need to replace him. He will have missed 2 full seasons and it wasn't like he was a 5 star talent in the first place...
Feels like the basketball team has a player go down with a major knee injury every year. Which is quite a feat consider the low number f players.

Interesting, legacy recruits in different sports. Seems rare. Couple that come to mind - Hankinson senior: football, Hankinsons junior (x3): hockey. Gates senior: baseball, Gates junior: hockey, Chad Kolander: basketball, daughter (whose name escapes me) was one of the best soccer players the program has had.
