Thursday Night Football taking two steps backsword. One, being on Amazon Prime. Tough to channel surf during commercials. Two, Kirk Herbstreit is a real blow hard. Al Michaeal balances it out. I couldn't imagine Herbstreit and Joe Buck doing a game together. There wouldn't be enough room in the press box for those two egos.

I'd actually like them to succeed... But up their broadcast game. There is so much that is possible. Here are a few ideas.
- Must be 4k
- Capability to select different camera angles
- Capability to turn off the broadcasters and just hear the sounds of the game. (you can do this with surround by turning off the center channel) Add in the option to select the radio broadcast of either team.
- Options to set up your own TV graphics to show what you want to see. Want player stats on the side? Give us the option. Do not want ANY graphics? Let the user turn them off, make it customizable.

I wonder how many bars and restaurants carry Amazon Prime? Could be lots of disappointed patrons if their watering hole to watch the game doesn't carry Amazon Prime.
@gator DirecTv and Amazon have an agreement that DirecTV will provide the Amazon games to bars. Also, starting next year DirecTV will continue to provide bars with the NFL Ticket ( out of market games ) even though they have lost the rights of that package to homes.

Is streaming in 4K really possible? My Netflix in 4k, is rarely, if ever, truly 4k. I cannot stand the amount of compression on YouTubeTV from even their "HD" broadcasts... I don't think I've had better than 720i on any feeds the whole time I have had YouTubeTV. The OTA signal is always better, sometimes significantly so. I am a physical media person for movies, I have tried the digital versions, and it is usually compressed slightly, and I never get the Atmos sound - it just treats my ceiling speakers and rears the same.
I will also unplug my center channel sometimes watching games, it is pretty nice.
If I could get rid of the ticker I would be so happy, I can't stand it. Its 2022, the people who care about the scores of other games are probably looking at them on their phone already.
Along with all the fantasy stats and gambling nonsense. I'd like to be blissfully ignorant and pretend that doesn't exist. I am guess with Bally's Sports launching their own service, the gambling aspect is going to be crammed down your throat.

I mean kinda. I think the Emmys moving to Monday for NFL may be why they moved a DH back a week? No sure but Bills/Titans at 6:15 and Vikings/assholefans team at 7:30 is a damn good night of football.
Good fight in the NO/TB game, 2 ejections. Now a couple questionable penalties against the Saints, it’s awesome. I love when the Saints get screwed.
The Baltimore/Miami game has been very entertaining.

MIA is good this year. I knew it'd be a tough game today, and the Bills have really not shown up in the first half so far this season, and today it burned 'em. I achieved a way to watch the game today, although the wi-fi crashed at the brewery I was watching it, via my laptop, so not exactly sure how that score came to be.
14 more games, though, and I never expected the Bills to go undefeated. We'll see who's still standing at the end.

There’s good defense and then there’s just botched execution and lack of offensive talent. The amount of hurt receivers that game meant neither team had any talent to complete longer routes and pass plays. Both teams could kinda stack the box defensively and key in on shorter routes.
It was a close low scoring game and both D’s played well but they also weren’t tested all that much. Jones and the TB receiver fumbling away points being primes examples of bad offensive execution.
It was that style of game due to lack of starting players (esp on TB). Grind it out game. In that aspect, the style of the game was what I expected, and I thought that style was executed in a very good manner.
