I retired as a goaltender several years ago, but I'll skate out.
I think it's safe to assume my daughter's 15U team (currently with a 5-22-2 record) won't be playing in the state championship game that morning.

Damn, we are down the following weekend for YHH Stars of Tomorrow….at first was hoping it was the same weekend.
If you need a goalie, I will volunteer my son (Bantam) to play and if you end up needing him for sure, we will drive down for the skate and see some family or just have a dude weekend.

Thinking back to the old POI/GPL skates, I'm of the belief that limiting the # of skaters and going for 90 minutes will be more enjoyable than having a ton of skaters and going for 2 hours. Those 2 hour skates got REALLY slow (like, slower than they already were) those last 30 minutes, and while everyone kids about their fitness levels (or lack thereof), having 12+ skaters per side means a lot of time sitting on the bench, especially as shifts get stretched out. Just my $0.02 though.
And if we need another goalie, I haven't talked to him in awhile but maybe I can see if Steve DeBus can join us?
