At the risk of getting eaten alive for jumping in and saying this about Mason Kraft I actually have some inside info that leaves a window of possibility.
I was told as of last year during the state tournament Mason had not even visted the U of M at that point. He had a "good" visit at Mankato and committed there. When I told my source "He needs to be a Gopher like his dad" the response I got was that he was going to play a year of juniors and see what happens.
Yeah it’s my understanding we haven’t offered yet. That all could change with a good year in the dub.

I haven't seen any, but Schlossman is a great source. All tea leaves indicate he will be a Gopher officially soon.

Not clear on why you’re rolling your eyes. It’s exactly what the Gophers did in the other two cases (to get Mike & Casey). It’s not by any means a criticism…it’s just stating reality regarding D1 Hockey recruiting. And at the same juncture, Joey Cullen is more prodigious (at 15 years old) than Mike or Casey were at the same age….that’s a fact. So pursuing all 3 bros as a package essentially becomes a no-brainer.🙄 🙄 🙄
Bringing in a fringier prospect like Brooks makes sense if it secures both Wyatt and Joey, especially since Brooks seems like he could be an effective Bottom 6 forward. No issues with it if this is what is unfolding.

Who says Brooks is coming in next season? I always thought he projected to be a 2 years of juniors guy. Fall 2027 is what I’d target for Brooks unless he absolutely pops in Fargo this year.

Max will need to merit it independently…they may be cousins, but in this regard he’s not directly linked to Matt Cullen’s 3 sons (all potentially) committing to the Gophers.

2 for sure slots for next year (Lamb, Mittelstadt). TBH don't really except any pro departures out of the forward group. Would say no one is really guaranteed aside from Kvas (provided he stays healthy) as Nevers may never hit campus (would surprise me, but its a different era now). part that will be tough for some of these guys is that they will be competing with older players for bottom 6 roles amongst this years freshmen (Pritchard 21, Moore 20, Townsend 20, Moe 19). Age and being physically ready body wise probably going to play at least somewhat of a role.
