A real shame for him he was just not even two inches taller. Most tools look to be NHL average to good save for the frame which may prevent him from getting significant NHL time. Hope he beats the odds.
After a very productive 4 year college career of course...

At least three natties and multiple Hobeys is not an unfair ask...
Mooney is going to be a fun one! Also, people are not giving Ludtke enough credit. Great hockey player. I am worried about us defensively, but I hope to be pleasantly surprised with Rombach and Finn.
Ludtke will be awesome in maroon and gold. I wonder how much of an adjustment period there will be, if at all, to start the year. Only played 8 games in the last 18 months.

I am also very curious who lines up at center. Pahlsson/Moe/Clark/Mooney/Falloon/Ludtke all have extensive experience there. I share the concern there is not a 1C for this year, but options down the middle are there.
Likely not true. Canadians don’t follow college hockey and usually don’t know what they’re talking about. LJ’s elite prospects page has him coming in 2026-27 and Habs fans were asking where he was playing this season.
Does this mean that Kvasnicka will be on campus this fall or is he going to go play juniors and they can reference him because regardless of where he plays this next season, he’s signed his NLI?

There is zero chance we just signed a D3 player. I don't care if he is playing the nick Micheal role. Something is majorly wrong behind the scenes, we just had pandoras box open of the entire CHL and we couldn't nab a B-rated player. Either we spent our ENTIRE NIL on wood thinking we could win it all last year or we never had any money to begin with. If we don't run the board on Aug 1st I don't know what to say...
This one has been known for quite a while actually. Just not announced. From what I’ve heard, he’s going in with the expectation of being a “practice player”.
Given that’s the case, not sure if that still means we go after and bring in anyone else (Canada, etc)
Phillips officially playing for Green Bay this season over the WHL. I think it’s a good move, someone his size should probably be playing against older/bigger competition imo.
It is fair to say goaltending recruiting has not been a strength of Motzko's, dating back to his SCSU days. He has had some solid tenders here, though acquired in odd ways. This breaks a tendency of his, however, and is great to see a shot taken on raw upside. Exciting add.
I have the feeling this has been discussed previously, but for whatever reason I’m too lazy to dig it up. Young Mr. Casey is not related to former North Star, Grand Rapids Indian and some other stop that escapes my mind Jon Casey, correct?

Exciting add! Projects to be on campus fall of 2027 after Airey & Di Pasquo graduate, following 2 years in the dub. Bob definitely breaking his mold a bit here but I’m a fan.
A Minnesotan in the crease! Feels like ages! Not counting traitor Moe the last would be Adam Wilcox a decade ago!

He had some success in St Cloud with Lindgren who is still in the NHL and a couple others. In theory it should be easier to do here.
Really like this pick up, super high ceiling on this kid. I mean try reading this scouting report and NOT immediately think Matthew Knies. Size & skill combo packages like this are rare.
