Can’t be many (if any). None this year.

Eiserman with 2 goals someone drug test the kid
I don't care when he turns 17 I want him playing for the Gophers this fall. Actually can he enroll at the U this week and play next Saturday? 😉
I’m convinced he could suit up next weekend vs Michigan and put up 1G 1A or something like that

Sneaky good season for Jimmy. Hope they keep him there next season and don’t bring him in like they did with Lamb. I love Lamb and I think he’s been a great player all year but it’s pretty obvious production wise that another year in the USHL would’ve been best for his development.

Would be fantastic to have him back in Green Bay. He looks to have improved as the year has gone on (boxscore scouting, I know). May come down to numbers. If a 5th year forward or two returns it should allow him another year in the USHL.

It will come down to that. This year they planned on Brody Lamb staying in Green Bay but they didn’t expect Broz and/or Lucius to leave. If they can return Brodz/Nelson they should be fine.

I don't think they initially intended to bring in Lamb until Broz left for DU btw -- Bob kind of got left with a tough choice at that point becasue they had already parted ways with Sorenson and Peribx before Broz left.

Curious if Hendrickson is here next year. Signed LOI...have not seen confirmation. Seems he could contribute in some capacity.
The Gophers only had 14 forwards this season (playing 12 or 13 each game) and are likely to lose at least 4 forwards (Knies, Cooley, Nelson, and Schmidt) so even if nobody else leaves I would think they would want to bring in at least 4 forwards.
I am curious who they will be.

@collegehockeyaddict Moore seems the only lock, though they have a few options. Curious if Bob utilizes the portal.

Eiserman is a flat out joke lmao
Is he coming in next year or 2 years away?Eiserman is a flat out joke lmao
Bjugstad came in at 17....Is he coming in next year or 2 years away?Eiserman is a flat out joke lmao
He is only 17, so he is slated for 2024.
To clarify, Cole is 16 now, and would turn 17 in late August. Bjugstad was 18 (he turned 18 in July before his freshman year). The youngest player I recall in recent memory for the Gophers was Brinkman who turned 18 in October of his freshman year.

Two more goals for Jimmy Clark tonight.
Nathan Airey named MVP for Cranbrook!
*Also worth noting his teammate Rhys Bentham was also named MVP so I guess co-MVP’s? Congrats to Nate! Cranbrook start their playoff push March 31st - Good luck to Nate & the Bucks!
Not exactly sure where to put this, but I will throw it here since it pertains to Cole Eiserman and his age. According to Brad Schlossman, Boston U has Macklin Celebrini coming in as a 17 year old next fall. He turns 17 this summer on June 23rd. He is tearing up the USHL.

Eiserman turns 17 on August 29th, so only a few months younger.

Just set the record with his 55th goal from Moore on the PP.

Hendrickson scores to make it 2-0 and then a short while later it’s #56 for Eiserman. Wow
Absurd.

What is this kid on????
Eiserman hat trick to make it 7-1.
I just wish Bob could recruit high end talent. ?

Could those 3 be a future line at Mariucci?
For those of us who don't follow closely, I know he has 57 goals on the year, but it looks like most of Eiserman's games were played with the U17 team. Elite prospects shows he's played 82 games (42 with U17, 10 with U18, and 30 with the USHL league). Did he really play in 82 games or are the USHL games he's played in also counted in the USNDTP U17 team? I was just curious if they were double counting to show his USHL game stats separately.
I'm pretty sure there's double counting.
I'm pretty sure there's double counting.
Yep. Of those 30 something USHL games, probably 20 of them were with with U17 and 10 with U18. Those games also get logged under the U17 and U18 umbrella.

Don’t add the USHL games to the total. He’s played 52 games total between the 17/18’s, 30 of which were USHL games. The other 22 would be non league games, (college games, NAHL, etc.)

If Bob can't get Eiserman in next year and he continues this same trajectory or pace there is a very good chance we never see him at 3MAM. I feel like he will want to be at the same level as his running mate for the #1 overall pick. If BU can get celebrini we can our guy, he may have to take some classes over the summer.
