Eiserman is absurd
One more Eiserman stat. He now has 35 goals in 34 games. The USNTDP record is held by the Little Guy who played at WI with 54 goals in 59 games. As far as I can tell, they have around 20 games left to play.

Ziemer 1G 2A
Whipple 1G 1A
Such a good crop of talent we got on that team.
Jackson Nevers with a VERY dirty hit against Hill Murray!
Formerly known as davey j.

Whoever does this page does a great job at keeping track of the recruits.

Rud is worst on his team with a -21?. Worth noting a projected first rounder is -14 on that team too, so it’s definitely a team issue. Max will have to learn some defense under Miller.

My wife and I went to watch the Stampede during the Gophers bye week. They are not a great team. They have given up the most goals in the league and are towards the bottom of their division. Max has scored 15 of his 19 points on the PP. Last year he was -26, so he is well on his way to break that mark. With Chesley, Koster, Mittelstadt, Rinzel, Staudacher, Thomas and Fish expected back, I see him as a 3rd pair guy or 7th guy. He is an older guy and he doesn't take a lot of penalties, which is a plus.

I think he’s a Thomas type player. Don’t see him playing much next year but will be a solid 4 year guy.

On the flip side, Jimmy Clark leads his team in +/-. Added another point last night. He’s having a nice little “freshman” year of juniors for a high school senior.
Only 2 goals for Eiserman tonight...

I'm not worried I think he will come out of this slump. ?
BTW Team USA needs to stop taking so many penalties and improve their PK. They gave up 4 power play goals on 7 chances. Are the Hanson brothers on the team?
42 goals in 42 games is an acceptable scoring pace I suppose.
Scored again today
Eiserman hat trick jfc
45 in 43 games. He's insane. Let's get Hagens too.
Hagens is all but committed to Harvard. Brother playing there and it’s all he follows on socials.
Edit: we can dream though. For those wondering Hagens/Eiserman makes Cooley/Snuggerud look like a B team. Wish I was joking.
Then let's flip the brother. He's not playing there. He's a commit for next season. We've offered a lesser sibling a spot to get the real prize plenty of times.
If you want to play on a big time stage its the U not Harvard..

OR If the kid is a legit top prospect, explain to him how playing at Minnesota will be more beneficial to his NHL trajectory than Harvard. If he wants a real world job, Harvard is your best option. If he is smart (and it sounds like he is) the choice should be to play along side Eiserman and get all those scouts in MN watching top talent.
Obviously you can't compare to Harvard on the whole, but unless you're a complete numbskull former UofM athletes have a very robust network to tap into for finding real-world employment once the skates are put away.
Yeah, because the Harvard degree is meaningless................... a business major from Harvard vs. a business major from U of MN.
And if you don't think the east coast college hockey players have a network you are missing reality.
When I lived in the Boston area I was a friend of Michael Ayers' mother (she was my real estate agent). Ayers was the goalie for UNH in the 2003 National Title game vs. Gophers and he is the associate head coach at BC now. Their network exists I can tell you this as a fact.
Good Lord dude you way misunderstood my comment. I clearly said UM can't compare to Harvard on the whole, but the connections that can be had locally aren't nonexistent. Calm down.

Eiserman - You know what to do ?
While this is a true statement, the size of the stage doesn't necessarily mean anything. If you were to guess that MN and MI were the teams with the most NHL draft picks this year, you would be wrong. That goes to Harvard. Sure, UM and MI have more first rounders, but the point still stands.
And this isn't the 1970s...if you have talent they will find you quite easily.
I still think if you want to be a big recruit, you want to play on a big stage against top competition and that will be MN. Have those scouts see you play big (or B1G) televised games vs top teams rather than Harvard's 25th ranked SOS. But if someone wants to dangle guys from Brown University in front of 823 people, be my guest. If you want to play on a big time stage its the U not Harvard..

If you're some super phenom player, why go to Harvard for 1 or two years, so that you can can tell people at parties when you're in your 40s that you're a Harvard Man? Personally, I'd rather tell people how much fun i had playing at Mariucci.
Would someone not from here think that?
Would someone not from here think that?
Unlikely. Gophers would be my dream school but for many others the 'M' is meaningless. No judgment of kids following their own path.
@davey-j Looks like a North Dakota type hit. He’s bigger, stronger, faster than his brother and has a better shot. Maybe there was a lapse in judgement or a reason for the hit that this clip doesn’t show.

Maybe Knies, Cooley, Close, Johnson, Bartowskievicz (whatever spelling), Staudacher, Pichora, Eiserman...?
?

I will absolutely understand if some player chooses a school like Harvard or Stanford over a school like the U of M. If I was a parent and my kid was getting recruited by an Ivy League school to play hockey or something how could you not be thrilled about that, but in terms of hockey and getting to the next level.. I am not sure there is a better choice than one of the blue bloods in college hockey of which Harvard is not. That said they do typically get decent recruits to play there, and their location in hockey obsessed Mass helps. The top end of the ECAC is generally solid, but its never very deep like the NCHC or more recently the BIG, which for development purposes is a huge seller to come here or places like Denver.

There wasn’t - I was at the game. It was just a dirty hit, end of story.
