Should be a great weekend of college hockey. I'm also looking forward to seeing St Cloud and Mankato play (Fox 9+) in between periods of the Gophers games.
If we’re the 40% even with our student section being packed then I will have officially lost all faith in this fan base.

Really excited to see how Chesley does this weekend. I feel like this is his kind of game. The more intense and grittier the game the better he seems to play. Motzko has mentioned how it seems like there isn’t a moment that’s too big for him. But so far it seems like you could say that about most, if not all, of the freshmen. Especially the D.

My favorite Gophers/UND monent isn’t the Wheeler goal, isn’t the Holl goal. It’s this Rau goal from 2012. Maybe the loudest I’ve ever heard Mariucci. Looking forward to Knies recreating this at some point this weekend?

My dad talked my grandpa into going at the last minute and from that moment forward Broten was "that little s--t" to my grandpa. As in I can't believe what that little s--t did, I'm so glad Herbie camped out in front of that little s--t's house to make sure he signed with MN, that little s---t can really play! Gramps was a character!

The 2004 WCHA title game will always be special to me especially because of the hype leading to the game and that between the 2 teams there must have been 20 future NHLers on the ice that night. Just a tremendous hockey game.

Same for me, mostly because I was there and our seats were on the end where Rau scored, row 9. That was the loudest I’ve heard Mariucci when he scored and right after during the Battle Hymm was the loudest “sweep” chant I’ve heard. No one left and every one was doing the arm sweep and chant. Goose bumps.

I would like to take a moment to pause and remember our brother MNS, who we lost on Halloween last year. Those who knew him best know that he was the finest among us, and that the world is a worse place without him in it.
He would expect nothing less from me than a double Hakstol and a devout prayer that North Dakota gets their f'n doors blown off this weekend. So that's what I'm gonna do.
