My hope is it’s some people looking to sell them if they make a bunch of money who will then come if not. Because idk how many late traveling und fans you’re going to see on Thursday given people have to work Friday
You lost me when you said und fans have to work.

Has there ever been released audio to coincide with this?
So this was not the broadcast feed. The broadcast followed the puck. This was an ISO that just happened to capture it. So you never see this with the main game audio. The audio for this particular clip came from the 2001-02 championship video the U put out.

I won't be there on Thursday because of the day of the week. Sorry, but if you want people to show up, schedule them on the weekend. That's just the way it is.

I’m flying in from Pittsburgh for this shit. Wouldn’t dream of missing it if I could absolutely help it

And when it's homecoming against IOWA, they do not give a rats ass about hockey.

I need a good game and win on Friday. Bringing a guy who might eventually become a son-in-law and is not into sports to the game. This may be the one chance to convert him. If not into Gopher hockey, what am I supposed to talk to him about at Thanksgiving and Christmas?
As for exciting goals, I rank them 1. Broten 2. Wheeler 3. Holl
I kind of wish we would let the Wheeler goal fade away. Every time I see it, I always think, yeah but North Dakota ended our season the next weekend so who cares. Same thing on their "timeout" game. I think we ended their season the next weekend so don't really care about that one either. Maybe it is I just never put much stock in the Final Five.

I get the sentiment I guess but honestly pretty wild take. No way are we letting the Wheeler goal “fade away”. That moment is truly timeless and one of the most memorable in program history.
A whistle can be blown when the ref loses sight of the puck. It was a quick whistle, and due to that, no goal.
Stop pretending to explain something that you aren't even watching.
Puck was in the net before the whistle was blown and was never actually covered by the goaltender. Understandable that they waived it live because of everything going on in the crease, but the replay from the front left side of the net made it beyond obvious that it was a good goal
I get wanting to blow whistles quick to avoid a scuffle, but a scattered puck in the crease might be the worst possible whistle when the goalie is sitting straight up. Literally no reason for it

Puck was in the net and under the goalie long before any whistle ever went. Quick whistle does not apply to that review.

It's on my tv, sir.
The puck was NOT in the net before the whistle was blown. It was a bad whistle, not a bad replay review.
When you tell somebody somethin', it depends on what part of the United States you're standin' in... as to just how dumb you are.

The refs have that loophole where they meant to blow the whistle but hadn't yet so I assume that's the justification they used. Not that it's any better in terms of the outcome or anything but that's my best guess.
