3rd goal was a well placed shot from the scoring chance area. Goals 4 and 5 can’t happen though and you hope he stops one of the first three.

The one goal that has me bothered is the second, or maybe it was the third goal, that was a breakaway. Close put up his glove had just after the puck sailed over his blocker side shoulder. It was a breakaway so he saw the puck but he didn't react at all to the side where the puck was. Close just was off tonight.
Like Bob mentioned this week it was tough to get the team's energy up earlier in the week after the emotional games last weekend. The team just doesn't have it tonight. They better bring it tomorrow night!

Giving up 6 goals in 2 and a half periods is hard to do, but the gophers managed to do it. It's a sign of a team not playing hard in all three zones. Pretty sloppy effort and OSU is the better team right now.
