Welcome Jimmy Clark. Seems like a great add so late in the process. Any chance Bob will add another forward before the season? 13 seems thin given the likelihood of a few leaving for World Juniors. Those in the know, any word on someone else coming in?
Elite Prospects has Clark listed as both a left wing and a center. Where do people speculate he’ll fit in best? Sounds like he’s quite the playmaker.
Wherever he plays he’s very likely to be a 4th line guy this year. I don’t see him getting time over Kurth and/or Lamb but you never know. Something like Pinoniemi-Clark-Mittelstadt is what I would try opening night.
I need the new season to start and I need it yesterday. As much fun as last year was I’m tired of watching highlights from last season. So excited for the new season and to see what this team is made of. Let’s have a great year and, as one fan posted earlier, win it all in St Paul!
I saw the Herb Brooks display at the Eden Prairie Sheels. A guy from Boston was also looking at it and recording it on his phone. He said he worked in the same office building as Dave Silk from the 1980 Olympic team. Has anyone else seen this display? Is this some new technology that we can expect more of? Or is this just a Sheels promo?

is this one animatronic? There was a Vikings player (John Randall?) there last time I was there that moved periodically and I think it spoke too. It was rather creepy.

This week he also said Brady Yakesh was coming in the year, when pretty much everybody knows he is playing in the BCHL this year. Again, I like Jess, but sometimes I think he is more focused on what happens in Warroad than with the Gopher program.

Maybe Bob can ask Raboin if we can have Joey DelGreco from Grand Rapids. Top scorer on the NAHL champions Oklahoma last year. Not on Augustana’s roster and I believe is slated to go back to juniors.

-Gavin Lindberg - flip from CC and make it a package deal with his brother Garret. -Sam Rice - committed to Hastings at Mankato but now gone. -Cody Croal - pushed to another year of juniors by North Dakota

In all honesty, I’m very surprised he is not on campus at Augustana this fall.
What did people think of Cal Thomas’s freshman season? Obviously he flew under the radar with the amount of studs on last year’s defensive group but I thought by the second half of the year he was a reliable shut down D man. Will be interesting to see how he looks with elevated minutes this year.

Early in the season, he was easily the 7th best defenseman on the team. Made a lot of mistakes early in the year that he wasn't making later. He had a nice stop during the BU game that made me smile having watched him progress over the course of the season. I think his stock is rising

He had an outstanding freshman year. He didn't come in with expectations like Faber, LaCombe etc. when they were freshmen. He exceeded my expectations, and I think he will be a terrific college defenseman.
Do anyone know how the tickets they sell at the state fair work?? I’m going to the fair on the 1st, will the tickets be sold out by then?

My son, brother-in-law and I get them every year and have never had a problem, but with increased interest this year I suppose there are no guarantees.
Motzko is on KFAN right now from the state fair and he just said "We got Jimmy Clark coming in and we have one more move left to make" What does he have up his sleeve
