No way…

I remember when I posted this Q&A and everyone said it was no big deal. We are Minnesota fans. Expect the negative to always happen.
Sigh.
This hurts emotionally and physically
So not only do we lose Cooley two months before the season starts but now we’re down to 12 forwards. I wouldn’t have blamed the kid for turning pro if he could have figured this out in April or May. Best of luck if he goes pro but boy does this hurt. Also makes losing the championship all that more painful as well.
Bring in Hendrickson?

Can I get my NIL donation back? Lol

Ah well. I considered being mad but instead chose to rewind how I thought about this a couple months. I was sure he was gone then.
I can only imagine eeyore's state of mind when they make it official. He is already on the edge saying the recruiting classes are poor.....

Sounds like he didn't bother to fill in any of his teammates either. Not great.

What’s the motivation for the big push from Arizona? They’re not going to contend this year anyways.
Aloha!
Pretty brutal blow at this point of the summer, but hopefully tBob has something up his sleeve.

I mean, other than Eiserman somehow coming in there really isn't anything that could remotely cover up that blow.
It's not like we lost a 2nd line wing here.
Per source, there is momentum toward Logan Cooley signing his ELC to play for the Coyotes this season. Cooley previously announced that he'd return to Minnesota for his sophomore season but he left the door open in this Q&A that I conducted with him.

There have been quite a few duplicate and posting of the initial tweet here.

He also changed his profile pic on instagram back to a Coyotes one.

This whole saga is so weird.
It’s done. I don’t think the Coyotes tweet if it wasn’t.
Brb. About to go cry in the shower while listening to One Last Breath by Creed and watch highlights from last year.
So at least Hendrickson probably comes in. Moore moves up to C1.
Still need at least another 1-2 warm bodies at minimum before September.
Well, that's a bummer.
He's gone. That really sucks.
So does Hendrickson come in? How about Eiserman?
Well they absolutely need at least one additional F now.
Send this year's U's equivalent of Jan Gangelhoff to Eiserman's house to finish up his schooling early so he can come in this fall.

What changed all the sudden?
A couple of random thoughts--
1. I would much rather him leave now, than in the middle of the season.
2. We have seen players who have come back, and are really not all in. Need everyone on board.
3. Kids change their minds, so not too shocked that Cooley did.
4. I hope he was honest and open with Bob during this process.
5. I 100% trust tBob and his process/vision.
6. It stings, and if this is the end, it was a blast watching Cooley the 1 year here.
7. Arizona is a train wreck, so I hope it was Cooley's idea to leave and not forced by them.

What changed all the sudden?
Good question - I can't imagine the rookie max wasn't already dangled in front of him.
Why do I not really care? We’re fine either way. Moore, Huglen, Nelson down the middle? Sign me up.
We went from run away title favorites to title favorites but it’s kinda close with like BU. We’re fine people.
Well the Kurth/Lamb not getting top 9 minutes "problem" may have just solved itself lol
Here is the YouTube/podcast that the beat writer and others talk about his decision.

I applaud Bob for getting the roster to the point where losing the Hobey favorite barely changes the outlook on the season.
I don't think Faber, Knies, Lacombe, Cooley, R Johnson for Rinzel and O Moore is a great trade. So a team that could not win with the former group seems to have gotten much worse.

Can you find me a better roster in college hockey?
Everything I love and care about in this world lets me down or leaves me.
Just announce the signing and lets move on.

Well poop.
Maybe don't join Dinkytown Athletes if you've already played your last college game.

I rewards the players that stayed even more and maybe gets them on board for DTA.

Maybe the Blues take another stab at signing Snuggerud with his linemate gone.
If DTA didn't already have a clause for players returning money if they go pro before the end of the season, maybe they will now.Maybe don't join Dinkytown Athletes if you've already played your last college game.

Couldn't disagree more with that, he probably would have been the best player in college hockey. They just went from title favorite to possible contender.
