There is no reason why Pahlsson should have continued to be in the faceoff circle. He was literally 1 for 11 before Motzko stopped using him. Continuing to try things that don't work is something Bob badly needs to improve on.
At least we had puck possession this game and had some looks. I’m ok with this outcome all things considered from last night. State is good and the 3rd period looked like we held our own in their building. A positive move forward from last night imo.

Way better game tonight. Need to do better on the faceoffs. They didn’t look great this weekend moving the puck out of their defensive zone (particularly yesterday). They need to get more scoring and scoring opportunities out of at least another forward line, 2 would be ideal. But I was pleased with the effort that they brought today. Sometimes it’s good to get popped in the nose every once in a while. They have the talent to make a run, I hope they can get some great play and momentum going! Go Gophers!
Still have high hopes for this team’s chances at a title. Nothing this weekend changes that.

I agree that the bye is not an advantage, but getting owned by MSU in 4 games is concerning for your chances of winning a title this season. It shows that you aren’t a real contender who can hang with the top tier teams.
