Ep 6 just got me hook, line, sinker. Holy sh*. While not terribly important to the storylines, the dance/party scene, although brief, was fantastic.
The last two episodes of Welcome To Derry were freaking fantastic.
I was a little hesitant after the first 2-3 episodes but it turned out fantastic and I'm very excited to see where they go from here (I believe I saw they have 3 seasons planned).
Brockmire S4 took a hard left turn. Jesus. About halfway through, and if not for the first 3 seasons, I actually would like it, but man, it's a whole different animal. Still time to reclaim the original spirit of the series, but that's a tough ask. Right now I'm feeling, "Gotta finish it, I've come this far." Not a good sign, in my book.

Rather blunt, the good and the bad. I think he is an a-hole, he obviously has heard about why his behavior gave him his reputation, BUT, it seems he's unaware WHY he has the reputation he has. Whether that's intentional or not, only he can answer that, this show doesn't really prove one way or another. There are good arguments for both sides, however IMO, he's just an aloof jack-arse. He let his ego get to him.
That doesn't take away the appreciation I have for his roles, his acting, etc, but as a person? Meh. I won't say he can rot, because I don't think he's evil or anything, he's just an arrogant prick.

Netflix added EVERY Wrestlemania to their site. While I haven't followed wrestling in more than 20 years, it is fun going back and re-watching these when I was a fan.

6 eps, I've watched 3. I think it is very good, and although it's based on a 2022 novel, it borrows heavily from Battle Royale/Hunger Games and Squid Game. I think the most interest parts of the show so far are the characters' backstories, which are slowly revealed in flashback form, and vary greatly.
It also does insert some real people/events in Japanese history, and obviously traditions in their culture, even though the story itself is fiction. Rumor is that another season will be on its way.

There's gonna be another season. The writers/creators wrote this so there is a cliffhanger, a poison pill, if you will, and I will say, there's enough meat to the story to grant them one more season. After that? We'll see. Really enjoying it so far.

Last nights SNL skit with new Harry Potter show called Heated Wizardry. 🤣 I’m lmao at all of it. My poor clueless husband was very confused. I then had to spend the next 5 minutes explaining and answering his questions.

It's dark, twisted, very much Nolan-style Batman Universe, IMO, heavy on organized crime tropes. I like it, so far. We'll see how it goes...
This is a banger of a season. Digging around, and don't know if there will be a season two. Still kicking the tires, I guess. While S1 left it wide open for an S2, no cliffhangers were around. Could easily end on the last episode which is a DOOZIE.

I'm watching via Stan which is based out of Australia. I don't know for sure the best way to watch in the U.S.
Friggin' hilarious, as usual. Main topics are religion and the LGBTQ+ but also some other stuff. Knee-slappers, guffaws, and belly-laughs are all included.

CLASSIC comic, been around forever. Weaves and bobs through stories; as he says, he doesn't tell jokes. He tells stories, and makes them funny. Definitely recommend anything he does, or has done.
I will say, if you don't find movies like Barbershop, or Boomerang, or Friday, funny, in essence, knowledge of Black culture, in general, you may or may not appreciate his stories 100%. There are many nuances in there.

Kind of old hat for me, more of a refresher course, but for those that don't know the history, it's well done, really explains with rather good detail about the history. Note: they bring in historians and such, blah blah, but if you REALLY want to know minute details, Selwyn Raab is in this, and he wrote a lengthy tome called "Five Families" and THAT, IMO, is the essential book to read.

Blows me away that the Dan Serafini Bar Rescue episode is still in syndication. Pretty wild to hear about him redeeming himself for an hour knowing that he’s now in prison for murder.
4 part series on Netflix, and have gotten through the first 2 eps. It was the last time he was on camera, due to his death, made just a year or two ago. It also is warts and all. So far, the show has done a really good job of it, many former wrestlers adding commentary along the way.
FTR, I never was a "Hulkamaniac," never was a fan. I rooted for the heel (bad guy) most of the time. Funny enough, (spoiler alert) Hulk started his career as a bad guy, and turned "face" (good guy) against a name we all know: Jesse Ventura, right here in MN's AWA pro wrestling organization.

Finished the series tonight. It continued to be blunt and honest, by both Hulk and the director/producers. They all just laid it out. And, not knowing the exact timeline of the filming and such, they did note that 3 months after the final session of questions, that's when Hulk passed away. They WERE planning on a little more filming.

Binged it last night. The only thing that doesn't make this doc complete is the absence of his daughter completely. I mean FFS the lady who took you for 70% of your money was in this doc. Like she has said in interviews this doc almost makes it seem like she didn't exist. I did enjoy it very much.

I might be in the minority but I thoroughly enjoyed S5 of The Bear. I was hooked from E1 and never jumped off. #4 and 7 particularly stood out. It felt like a season of Chef's Table turned into a drams. Best season since S1.
Started watching S3 of America's Sweethearts (about the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders). Still impressed at the exactness of the training, and how high-level the routines are. The series stays away from any drama*, it focuses on the journey of the young women going through the process of making the team.
It's nothing mind-blowing, per say, but better than most "reality" shows out there.
*I'm sure the Cowboys have final approval on what airs, so if there IS any negative drama, it's probably cut. There are some heart-breaking moments, as in when someone gets cut from training camp, etc, and I admit, it's rather raw. They don't soften it up at all.
