Yeah I was a big fan of his going into the NTDP. Still could regain some of his promise he hasn’t even played a college game yet. Still would take Laylin over him at this point though.
He started getting Faber comparisons early on and I'm not really sure why other than he was from Maple Grove? I thought he was a little overrated for a while there, and the perception of him seems to be finally matching up with the level of player he is.
Xavier Wendt to St. Thomas. Good player, but with Casey committed and Owen Ryan available to be recruited next year, it’s pretty clear there’s no room.

I thought he may end up at UND or an Ivy (Cornell or Dartmouth) but why fight thru a log jam (UND). That's a very good get for UST, he slides in whenever Musser decides to sign with Utah. I suspect that Goehring being there played a big part in landing him. UST is going to be pretty darn good in 2-3 years now that they're going after primarily CHL and Euro kids.
Not going to lie, this one surprised me given that he is on the smaller side and there are a lot of CHL goalies on the board yet (Snell, Oaten, Orsulak, Schlenicka, Tu). Good goalie, Tonka kid, congrats to him!
I think it was Mike Eruzione who said Drew Daley got an offer from the Gophs pretty early (like ~Aug. 1). Maybe Daley is purposely waiting longer to commit like Freddie Schneider? If that's the case, hopefully Smith/Murr/rest of our D-corps will be able to sell Daley on the U by all 7 regulars being wildly successful this coming season.
