Ive seen that movie, no thanks. And that game could have went another period fine by me, I’m patient. I haven’t seen them a lot but I don’t see anything scary about WMU other than their record. I’m still pessimistic but we could flip the switch.
WMU seems like Mankato with more firepower, really good goalie but they also have Bump and a good offense. Also dominated Denver recently.
Yeah, I'd prefer Kato over WMU if MN wins. It's a moot point now.
I refused to root for either because last time I got what I wished for my wish sucked.
I will say that the Cows weren't playing the trap but they were stacking the blue line. A shit load of dump and chase in that game. Without Alex Tracy they would have been played right out of that rink.

Ice issues caused delays in the Manchester regional. Arena is rarely used for hockey apparently. Perfect spot to hold a tournament game. 🙄
I'll never forget the 1996 Final Four (yes it was still called that then) in Cincinnati. Between periods of the first semi-final the crew drilled a hole in the refrigeration line at one end (trying to set the goal). Throughout that game (unknown to us), the Zamboni was coming out to suck up water vs. put it down.
We came back for the 2nd semi-final (were also separate tickets back then) to bright and shiny "ice". I remember saying, "wow, I don't think I've ever seen ice that clear". Yea well... it was water. The 2nd game was delayed notably while we waited for water to freeze. Worse than watching paint dry. This was before texts and alerts and all that. Games were no re-entry and no alcohol. That was my first every Frozen Four, we were confident the Gophers were going to be there. Surprising we kept going after that.
