I am seeing other strange behavior since the update yesterday evening too.

Like a double scrollbar along the right side on desktop ------>

As of just now, clicking on links is taking me to the first unread post again.  Half an hour ago, it was still taking me to the top of the newest page.

I hadn't noticed a double scroll-bar (maybe it was there and I just didn't see it) but right now, it's not there.

I'm going to the top of the page sometimes, and sometimes to the 1st unread posts.

Yeah... It's a bit buggy, but keep reporting was you are seeing.

Can the options above the text box be streamlined to not have buttons on the far right side of the screen? I’m constantly starting a numerical list or opening a box to add code as those icons are right where one touches the screen to scroll.

or maybe that’s an iPhone 7 feature  ?

your add reply button at the bottom of the text box is covering some words too  

otherwise all seems to be working the same on my archaic device! 

I just removed one line of code and it appears to have fixed the go to unread post AND the weird scrollbars and scrolling issue on desktop. Refresh your cache and thing may work better for all of you. (If not working already)

I have a new Samsung and it's the same.

Can you guys post a screenshot of what you are talking about?

Actually buttons for me are on top just have a similar problem.  The buttons are super easy to hit while scrolling so I often have weird lists or quotes get messed up.

Right after I got that code... The developer released a new version to fix the issues. So I will update that later tonight, but most issues are fixed with that one line of code... But apparently there is also an email notification problem as well. So if you have not been getting emails, that will get fixed as well.

I think they're referring to this general area and what can happen when trying to scroll down to get to the "Recent Topics " area.

Not sure any programming can help. What I've found works is don't grab the area with all the "functions" and the scrolling should be problem free.

I guess I never have that problem. This is what I see. 

I just think this is not the best mobile platform.  It isn't bad it is just super sensitive and if you maybe are a fast scroller it is not very forgiving.

For example, just in typing this post I had a weird numbered list show up and a code box.  Not a big deal just weird when it happens 😉

Strange because I have never had an issue. 

I may be able to tweak things in the way things are displayed on our end. But I am still struggling as to what would need to be done.

@jupiter can you rearrange the icons above the text box so there aren’t any on the far right where fingers hit the screen to scroll? Or resize that whole thing smaller? It’s not a huge deal but I hit the number list or code bar almost every time I scroll so have to delete. 

but they are not on the far right... It is likely that your mobile browser zooms in a puts them over on the right.

I MAY be able to stop it from zooming and keeping everything more normal.

Thoughts?

Yeah... I just do not see any problem with that screenshot at all besides a button going over some meaningless text. There are hundreds of different mobile screen sizes and different ways phones display things. I can't make everyone happy.

I lose my login every time I access "Unread Posts".  This just started a few minutes ago.  Accessing on Android phone.  Tried clearing all data.  It didn't fix the problem.

Problem is only occurring on Chrome browser.

That is strange... I wish I knew more about login and "sessions". 

I restarted Chrome, from scratch (like a fresh install), and it cleared the problem.

This is not a complaint just a weird observation.  My bookmark for GPL is set for the Main home page.  When I select it and GPL opens on the top right it says I'm not logged in.  When I click on "Log in" nothing happens - it just brings me back to the Home page.  If I then go to the Portal I am logged in.  Again not a complaint just weird.  ? 

Just did a message board update. Let me know if you see any weird behavior.

In like half the threads it no longer takes me to the last post and the portal always wants me to login (like with Slap Shot on the main page) and when I do nothing though if I open a thread it then has me logged in.  Very weird...

Sounds like a sessions issue... Let me clear the user cache and see if that changes things. I have never had those type of issues.

Hey Jup - IT question for you. I am logged in on my iPhone and I am seeing ads on my portal screen. My user info says I am golden, which I thought blocked the ads.  Any help is appreciated!

Yeah… Still a few ads here and there on the portal. Just the message board you won’t see them.

I’m periodically getting sent to the first post of a thread when I click on the topic in the portal.  It’s random but can be active threads I looked at a few hours prior.  Anyone else experience this?

Happens to be once and a while too... Probably a glitch in the cache or something. But nothing I can really do.

It seems like it happens often after a new page is added to a thread.

The game is there twice because of the NCAA Brackets. Need to see if I can exclude the bracket from the main schedule. Thanks for the heads up.

I removed the normal scheduled game... Which broke the sidebar, so that will be fixed next.

Goofy plugin... I just ended up adding a single game code in that spot for now. Removed it from other places on the site.

At this time of year, guessing it's likely just easiest to do that manually for a couple weeks.

True.

The bracket/tournament module is new so I didn't know how it would affect everything. Looks like I will not need to add future games to the main schedule since it will grab it from the NCAA Tournament Bracket.

The software has the capability to do ALL games and leagues. But I cannot imagine having to manage that. It would be all manually entered. All games. All teams. Yikes!

I spent enough time last evening adding a logo for each of the 60+ teams in DI that didn't have one on GPL. 

Well, keep up the good work.  Definitely always a learning experience with new software like this.
