Along those lines, I don't see notifications when I'm tagged (I do when I get a thumbs up, a reply to a post, or any reply in the thread that the system says I started because I have the first post after you chopped of a ton of old pages)

@steve-mn Like I said in the other thread, you need to unmute the mentioning bell.

I think I missed that one.  And, in the meantime, I did get a reaction on a post, and the notification isn't getting hidden behind the scoreboard on my phone now.

I am just trying to understand what it is or does. This is a WordPress site.

Did you install the Jetpack plugin?  From what I see reading through this, that seems to be the main vehicle behind that kind of scraping.

Also, it seems like it's only blog posts, not necessarily forums like this, but certainly can't tell for sure.

Is it possible for, "New reply from xxx" to only appear for replies to the user rather than just a reply to a thread you've posted in?

I think it's only direct replies, and replies to threads you started.

Yup - it must be the 'threads you started' that threw me off as i started the Movies thread and the last reply from Rube was not directly to me. Anyway to turn that one off? 🤣

I don't think so.

I finally figured out how to show those who are "Golden" to be that actual color for your username.

So you have these user colors...
