Sounds good, but the Frozen Four is in St Louis next year.  Vegas is 2026. ?

The wife says we're going and leaving the kids at home. Can't wait to hurt my liver and watch Gopher hockey for a weekend.

I got my hotel...I will decide on tickets based on price ?

I usually don't like games in other places but I love Vegas (go like 4 times a year) and it's a tourny so it's more acceptable.

Vegas for the opening round of the NCAA's is epic. Done it a handful times and it's sometimes over St. Patty's weekend!!!

Vegas in March is great...I just watch the games at the Sports Book though!  Got the SO to love sports betting one year doing that!

Is Orleans arena the same place we played the Whioux like 5 years back? They had to stop play every 5 minutes to fix the glass/boards. Hoping this doesn’t turn into the same mess.

Selfishly I wish this game would be played during Thanksgiving weekend. I just can't afford to take off 3 days in a row during harvest. ?

I’ve never been to Vegas and was planning my first time FF 2026.   This is a great excuse to go - and no whioux fans!!

although this will be a $$$ trip so we’ll have to think about this one.

With tickets going on sale on Monday, Oct. 16th, does anyone know is it first come first serve or Gopher Hockey season ticket holders and other fan base season ticket holders get first shot. When the Gophers played UND at Orleans and tickets went on sale to the public, pretty much there was no tickets to be bought, cause UND season ticket holders bought them all up.

I get people love LV but just not in my wheel house.  I could see flying into LV as a means to get to Zion, Bryce Canyon, & Grand Canyon NPs but no interest in returning just for the city itself.

I would love for MN to schedule an October series in Maine, now that would be wicked pissah awesome.

LOL, the best part of our trip to Vegas was a bus tour to Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon.

Yikes.  I love that city.  All the gambling, sports betting/watching, pools and cold drinks, party atmosphere everywhere, top restaurants, and now NHL and NFL.  I wish I had more money so I could go more often.  I could easily go twice per year if we weren't hockey parents.

To be honest, I loved our Denver trip a lot since they have a bunch of casinos and so many great bars and restaurants.  Riding snowmobiles in the mountains was a huge highlight.  But Vegas would be so, so fun for hockey.

And they all stay at the Linq... the old Imperial Palace to honor Ralphie.

Anything to get the hell out of grand forks.

Run Away GIF

Plus.....it looks like there are a handful of Olive Garden restaurants in LV!!

I doubt it...the demographics of the clientele there would definitely scare the average Rube from Grand Forks.

Plenty of ways to have fun in LV without gambling.  Lots of good restaurants off the strip that are priced well and the food is great!  Plus you can drive like 15 minutes and go to see Red Rock Canyon which is epic!

Cowgirl can attest that we even saw UND jerseys at the game in 2016 when the Gophers were playing at Anchorage.

Yep... agree on Red Rock Canyon. Also the Pinball HoF is fun. And I'm a walker... I've walked from the Rio to one end of the Strip to the other and back to the Rio in Feb. People thought I was crazy not wearing a coat, until they found out I was from Mn.  I wouldn't recommend this... I've also walked from Fremont St. to the Luxor around 10 at night.

The Neon Museum is totally tacky tourist and yet still tons of fun.  But yes there is lots of free stuff to do that has nothing to do with gambling.  Or do as we did years ago, we visited almost all the major casinos for the sole reason of judging which cocktail waitresses and staff uniforms best exemplified the overall casino theme.  It was stupid and fun and provided hours of discussion.  And it was a tie between the Roman togas at Caesar’s and the Parisian police uniforms at Paris.

Note: Due to inflation dirty deeds will no longer be done dirt cheap.

The Orleans arena site lists them going on sale on October 20th.  That might be the issue.

Don’t call the arena.  They won’t do ticket sales over the phone. (Even for a larger group)…..

Season ticket holders got a presale link for 12p today. This arena is too small for Ticketmaster to not be able to manage such a small load. This is not Taylor Swift.

Is it a general rule that every TM on sale has to be a disaster?

The UMN is aware and their manager is “working on it” but otherwise unhelpful.  Nobody is actually at the arena box office at orleans arena.

Hopefully they either re-schedule for another day, or at least push back the other start-times, too.

The U said the system is just overloaded.  We think that someone at TM didn’t activate the presale link.

This is dumb.

Promo code appears to be "goldengophers".  But all that does is turn all the sections blue saying there "ARE" tickets available, but you cant' actually select or buy tickets.

They didn't setup the pre-sale correctly.  Only ADA tickets are available.  Some idiot bought two of them lol.  Going to be real awkward when they show up able-bodied and get told to piss off.

Edit:  Now eight of those are gone.  LOL  People are so dumb when they're desperate.

This is dumb.  Clearly something is amiss.  Just give us the promo code.  I can get to the pre-sale page through the arena's website and add for the event.  I just need the promo code.

I've tried every Gopher related thing I could think of.

It's not a word, it's a 32 or 16-bit code.  It just wasn't activated.
