The Power Trip crew mentioned the sch is out and that all tipoffs are no later than 7:30.

CDT. I hope, and not PDT.  😉

Or worse.... HDT...

HDT = Hawaii? If so, it should be noted that Hawaii does not observe daylight savings

No matter who the Wolves play in the WCF they will have their work cut out for them. OKC is an extremely good team, basically a mirror image of the Wolves. One superstar (SGA), one all star (Jalen Williams), and some great team players capable of going off and carrying the team (Chet, Dort, Wallace). OKC had 7 guys average 10+ points this season and had the best record in the west for a reason. They are big, physical, and very very good. The Wolves will have to tighten up on the turnovers if they play OKC because they play defense as well as anyone in the league.

We know what Denver has and is capable of. Jokic is the best player on the planet. Denver goes as he goes. But their role players have been great in the series against OKC. It looked like Aaron Gordon may have gotten banged up last night in game 6. If he's out for game 7 and they manage to win anyways, that would definitely be a benefit for the Wolves early in the series.

Either way, this Wolves team has been absolutely outstanding down the stretch and if they stay healthy are every bit as capable of bringing home the NBA championship as anybody left standing.

I swear the first sign of getting old (myself included) is caring about game times.😂 I remember in my softball bar league nights liking another late game starting to give us something to watch to go along with the beers and pizza and work the next day all day with just a rough morning. Now it’s still a rough morning without the beer and pizza.😁

It'll almost be weird to watch a game that doesn't affect my sleep.

Paige debut tonight. A few Hopkins businesses featured in the pre-game (LTD Brewing, AtoZ Creamery, Amy's Cupcakes, and while not by name, Driskell's grocery, if one has been there you recognize the interior).

Hopkins itself changed its name today to Paige Bueckers, MN.

I have to admit, it is odd they didn’t do this when Dallas is here, so maybe she could be a part of it.

There was talk about that on the local radio (93X/KFAN).

Cart waaaaayyyy ahead of the horse but a ‘wolves-Knicks final would have some interesting story lines.

All the so called 🏀 experts are picking OKC today, but they fail to factor in Denver is the more experienced team in big games & less than 2 years from winning the NBA title. Not saying OKC won’t win, but even playing at home,  I don’t consider them the fav today

you’d be very wrong not considering them the favorite. They’ve been the best team in the league all year against a wounded Denver team at home

The under dog role it is. Hope we can steal one on the road early and put some pressure on the favorite.

@bigbeer
Do you know anything about this Caruso character for OKC? I had yesterday’s game on in the background. The TV commentators were praising him. Claiming he helped carry the Lakers to the 2020 NBA finals and championship. I highly doubt that he carried them with LeBron and Davis on that team. I looked up his career stats and there’s nothing to get really excited about.

caruso does about everything you want a guy to do. Constantly hustles. Plays great defense. Hits timely shots. Can drive and shoot outside. He’d be an ancillary star on another team, but okc chooses to treat him like a 6th man to keep him fresh/healthy.

he’s an analytics darling with some crazy high box plus/minus numbers for what his minutes are

These teams are evenly matched with each having slight advantages in different areas. The difference will be OKC constantly generating turnovers and the Wolves being a turnover machine.

If the wolves stay hot outside I like our chances. Fancy inside work putting the ball on the floor against their defense is trouble. Hanging in there!

I’m pretty sure unless you’re draining everything, a 3 pt attempt 5 seconds into possession 8 feet beyond the arc isn’t a good possession. Ugh

Huh, seems most are blaming anything else than "God forbid" a better team is playing the Wolves. I do believe the Wolves have the talent, but seriously, stop making excuses.

I see zero excuse making. Pointing out gullible refs isn’t excuse making. Awful game from Naz, bricks from Dante and average at best from Ant. Good game from Randle but they switched their double teams to him in the second half and no one else stepped up.

At the risk of being the cliche basketball hater on a hockey forum, it’s players like SGA that make me dislike watching the NBA. Is he good, yes. Would he be good without all the antics, also yes. But it just distracts from the game so much that it’s difficult to watch.

As poorly as they played in the second half last night, they still played better than they played in game 1 vs Golden State.  They are not good following a long layoff.

Let’s hope they can get back to normal, starting Thursday.

The 'wolves seemed to have weak hands last night.  My uniformed observation noted a lot of balls were knocked away or stolen when a MN player had possession, Rudy in particular.

The Wolves were 15/51 from 3pt. line... That's not going to win you many games, especially if your not getting the offensive rebound.

Surprised to see this stat, 1/1434. A 9 pt lead with a minute left is a long time in the NBA.

Not looking good for the Wolves or the rest of the NBA, OKC is just too much. That said the OKC fans have to be the dumbest, unattractive and homogenous fanbases ever. Just gross.
