I just heard on KFAN the Vikes will be playing 2 games back to back in Europe
Aloha!
We are going back to our roots.
The Vikings, known for their raiding and exploring expeditions from Scandinavia, terrorized parts of Europe from the late 8th to the late 11th centuries. Their raids, particularly on coastal areas and monasteries, led to widespread fear and disruption, causing significant changes in the region's defense strategies and military forces.
But......the Vikings are also responsible for Russia and its ways.
The Rus',[a] also known as Russes,[2][3] were a people in early medieval Eastern Europe. The scholarly consensus holds that they were originally Norsemen, mainly originating from present-day Sweden, who settled and ruled along the river-routes between the Baltic and the Black Seas from around the 8th to 11th centuries AD.
I SAY THIS IN A HISTORICAL CONTEXT ONLY. "River Kings" by Cat Jarman covers the Vikings' travels, as a bioarcheologist.
When you tell somebody somethin', it depends on what part of the United States you're standin' in... as to just how dumb you are.

The Vikings from modern day Sweden effed Eastern Europe up back in the day. They layed siege to Constantinople for crying out loud.
Confirmed that Vikings will be playing the Steelers in Dublin on Sept 28th and the Browns in London on Oct 5th
I was recently informed by a GPLer that I'm related to Airey

Looks to be 2 roads games as well. So the Vikings don't lose a home game which make since they'll be in Europe for 2 weeks.
Keep your stick on the ice...
Vikings and NFL schedules released tomorrow at 7pm. Once I see the schedule, than I can start planning my fall and winter. Just wish Gopher Hockey and the BIG was just as motivated as the NFL!!!

Pretty sure if it were up the the U, they'd be sending out the schedule in the next few weeks. But, they're completely at the mercy of the B1G, an organization that just objectively doesn't care about hockey fans.Just wish Gopher Hockey and the BIG was just as motivated as the NFL!!!
B1G refs... corrupt, or just incompetent?
I would say the hockey program, yes. The athletic dept, probably yes. The marketing dept, no. The U’s marketing dept, couldn’t think themselves out of a wet paper bag.

playing the Lions at the people’s stadium on Christmas day
Aloha!
And they open the season at the Bears
Aloha!
What is expected to be quarterback J.J. McCarthy’s first NFL start will be a prime-time return to his home state. Sources say, the La Grange Park, Ill., native will face a divisional road test in Chicago against new Bears head coach Ben Johnson, the former Lions offensive coordinator, on the opening "Monday Night Football" slate on Sept. 8. The Bears’ busy offseason included a coaching swap and an offensive line overhaul that saw Chicago trade for guards Joe Thuney and Jonah Jackson and sign veteran center Drew Dalman in free agency. The Vikings have won five straight trips to Soldier Field.
I suspect this means the Vikings will play home games in Weeks 2 and 3 since it looks like Weeks 1, 4, & 5 will be road games.
