Hurts has taken a big step forward and ideally we get pressure with 4 and if not at least contain him. Neither of those things happened. Defense has actually played well in the second half and the offense has totally crapped their pants…kinda like most of your posts.

I think the Eagles were waiting for the Vikings to threaten before they tried very hard in the second half. They did a decent number of times, but the offense had a surprising number of rounds in that gun pointed at their feet.
This is why the Cousins haters are sometimes right, he’s already having a bad game and when he does it’s usually a loss.

The new head coach really makes some questionable game decisions. Two 56 yard attempts when you have a weak D? I could maybe understand that IF this team had a stellar defense (even then I think it would be dumb) but giving a short field to the other team when the Vikes D is weak is just not smart football. Punt the ball and make them drive the field. Don’t make easy for them.
I don’t want to judge too quickly but I’m not very impressed with the decisions I’ve seen so far from the new leader.

We are very deep at running back but Cook’s speed will be missed. Cook seemed to be running OOB and avoiding contact a lot, I’m wondering if it’s the same shoulder as last year and it’s never gonna be 100%.

I understand taking risks later in the game but I think there should be some perspective on the odds of making it in context of the point of the game you are at.
Not to mention, the first attempt shouldn’t have inspired confidence that a second attempt at that range should be taken (unless the game is on the line).
