Honestly, it was a hell of a game for about 2 1/2 quarters...then DET was S.O.L.

You know, same old Lions.

When you tell somebody somethin', it depends on what part of the United States you're standin' in... as to just how dumb you are.

Detroit lost?

Episode 2 Whatever GIF

Had funny feeling if the Lions would go onto win the Super Bowl, their fanbase would become very UMD like after winning their first Nat’l Championship.

-9.5… I’m sure that safety has A LOT of betters angry.

I told my buddy the spread at the bar after that play and he looked up again at the score and started laughing his ass off 😂.

I was definitely wrong about the other game, I was at a concert and didn’t get to watch it but what a crazy outcome.

Packers, Lions, Vikings all one-game flame-outs.

So much for the NFC North dominance angle.

Came here to post this, so much for the North being the best division in football…0-3

To be fair, Green Bay winning in Philly was not the most likely outcome and it was going to be a pretty tough mental turnaround for the Vikings to go from home field advantage possibility to a wildcard game trip out west to win.

The only team that I thought would win but lost was Detroilet.

I'm not sure if I have seen a pro football fan base arrive at a level of arrogance more quickly than Detroilet fans showed. But their team was also rather smug so I guess they were just following along. It was very gratifying to watch the air come out of that balloon last night.

Loving what Jayden Daniels and the commanders are doing this year. Personally tired of the Dan Campbell emotional hallmark card post game. I predict Josh Allen and the Bills over Baltimore but would love to see King Henry win it all. I dislike both NFC qb’s today and wish they could both lose but if I had to pick a favorite I’ll give it to the rams fan base over Philly’s. Rams and Bills win today I think.

Washington is in the NFC Championship game for the first time in 34 year olds.

I’ll gladly cheer for the Redskins next week.

Oh no….

While not a Washington fans, I'm a fan of the Redskins logo and nickname. The Redskins logo was of a Blackfeet Indian chief John Two Guns White Calf designed by Walter "Blackie" Wetzel from the Blackfeet tribal nation. Being that I grew up on the border of the Blackfeet Reservation the logo has more of a meaning. Walter's son Don Wetzel was an All-American basketball player at Cut Bank and I have graduated from high school at Cut Bank with 2 Walter's grandsons and many other Blackfeet students. The Blackfeet Nation is proud of that logo and nickname. And have fought endlessly by the Wetzel family to have the logo and nickname restored.

If people are interested, google Walter "Blackie" Wetzel and you can read some very interesting articles of him, the design and even being friends with JFK.

I would be very ok with never hearing collinsworth call another game. So much yammering saying nothing

Snow football is the bestest football.

Basically a twelfth defender, in my opinion.

Of course as I say that the Rams rip off two big plays in a row.

As fan in the stands... yes. As a player on the field, not so much. Or only after a win, it's fun.

It's an advantage to the offence. Besides kicking fg's and pat's.

In the 1st quarter Hurts had a 44 yards TD run and Barkley had a 62 yard TD run but the past two quarters the Eagles have had the same problems the Vikings had last week. They can't block the Rams pass rush.

6 sacks through three quarters including a safety and now Hurts is less mobile with an injury due to all the hits the Rams have put on him.

Kyren Williams fumbles and gives the Eagles offense a chance to get a big TD starting with the ball at the Rams 10 yard line.

I agree with Karlsson, it hurts the passing game. So, in general (in today's NFL's pass happy game) weather is a defender.

Ill trust my QB and my WR’s knowing their routes over the defense trying to read those routes in weather like what we are seeing.

This is what I was getting at. If you have a good run-blocking line and a good RB, snow is great! If you rely more on the pass, snow is tough.

Possible late hit on the final play between the Rams/Eagles. 110% guarantee a flag would have flown if it was Mahomes. 50/50 if it was Hurts cause of it being in Philly.

That'd kinda be Tua vs Lewis. If he gets inside, I'm done for, but I have the reach/length. And if one remembers "Fight Club:"
In the movie Fight Club, Tyler Durden says he would fight Abe Lincoln: "Big guy, big reach. Skinny guys fight till they're burger."

There’s no issues between @the-rube and I. I consider him a friend outside of this site. We’ve toasted several beer in our OC 10th tour mugs, been on a couple roadtrips, ABR, parties and so on… I think it’s great when friends disagree and aren’t lemmings about it.

Yes he grabbed Lamar's arm when he was still in bounds but the defender dragged him to the ground when he was WAY out of bounds. That is clearly a penalty.

If that was against Mahomes they might have kicked the defender out of the game. 😉 🤣

It is ridicules how the refs call hits on QBs depending on who the OB is.

Not Mahomes no penalty! 😂 🤣

Youre right though, Cam Newtons career is the most obvious example I can think of who just never drew roughing calls. Meanwhile Brady always did.

Not a fan of that PI. They were battling with each other, and the defender was pushed down. He didn’t grab on and pull the receiver down, either.

Agree, it was a classic Hometown call. As far as games played in snow, unless it’s at Lambeau Field (from a classic tradition standpoint) and I’m NOT a Packer fan…they basically SUCK. I want the skill of players to prevail on a field with proper footing & traction. But, to each their own!

I really hate how they call grounding. Allen is making zero effort to get the ball to his guy and it doesn’t get back to the LOS.

He’s allowed to have that space though. Ravens really only have themselves to blame so far regardless. Have not been great in any facet today

As he’s looking at the ball backpedaling? He’s there first and the guy comes into him. So he has to backpedal faster and let the guy get to it? They’re both hand fighting and he’s backing up. That’s extremely marginal at best
