Really don't like active players (LeBron) advertising for sports betting apps.  Just a bad, bad look all around...

Really just don’t like the major sports allowing sports gambling to advertise at all. I do have a really hard time believing it’s not more pervasive and abused amongst players and those close to the team as well as pressured on the players from the gambling markets

Rashod Batemen with a playoff TD!

Would like to see Tyler go off against the Vikings but in a L.

This WASH-TB is one heck of a defensive game. Loving it.

It’s always interesting how the stripes let some DB’s be aggressive on WRs and not for others in the same game.

And I’m a defensive person and like when they let the defense play aggressive when it’s allowed both ways.

Sat:

Houston (+7.5) @ Kansas City... I see KC winning by +14.

Washington (+9.5) @ Detroit... Lions by a solid 10.

Sun:

LA (+6) @ Philly... Philly by 14+.

Baltimore (-1.5) @ Buffalo... Buffalo wins.

Philly boots a fan for life from Lincoln Financial Field for harassing a female Packer fan. Called her the 'c' word. The fan was also fired from their job. Out of all places Philly would be the last place imo that would boot a fan. They take pride in their behavior to visiting fans.  The funny part of it all, they are giving Big Dom the credit for tracking down the fan. He did absolutely nothing. Social media did it all. Big Dom couldn't think himself out of a wet paper bag.

Don’t get me wrong the person sounds like a dink, but fired for using the c word? Whoa. I assume they have some sort of customer facing position.

Even if he doesn't when your company is associated with such behavior all over social media sometimes that is all it takes. Plus he didn't just use the C word he was a complete over the top bully/prick and if he worked for me I'd fire him if company policy allowed it.

@slap-shot

Not trying to defend this guy, though I’ve read an article after posting my original post. Supposedly the couple are YouTubers and its their goal to go to games, stir the pot and try to get people to respond while recording it all. Also their tickets were paid for from a Go Fund Me account from their followers.
Again, it’s one article from this morning.

Maybe, but you'd think with everyone having a phone there would be video of the couple being the instigators not the other way around.

Yeah if there’s another side to this story we’ll hear about it eventually. The packer fan doing a go fund me or being on social media by itself doesn’t really prove anything.

Not saying it does... You have to think twice and act now days. People always have their camera raring to go.

You can see it on TikTok or YouTube with all these Constitutional audits that people like to do. It's trolling to get a reaction, regardless if it's protected by the Constitution.

No I know, I just find it funny that the counter argument to “eagles guy was clearly being a despicable douche” is “well the packer fan has a social media account and did a go fund me” 🤔

Police have better things to do than even engage with these characters. Regardless. I would love to engage with one of them, especially Amagansett Press.  Jason and his son are clowns... all bark and no bite. You just play their game back at them. They'll move on.

You're right, in many cases they shouldn't even be engaging with them in the first place and are costing their respective localities millions in lawsuits. That's not to say that some of those auditors aren't annoying and over the top.

Amagansett Press are probably the most known and annoying. There's another one, their name is slipping my mind. He talks in mono tone and acts very fishy and suspicious. At least Amagansett Press is up front on what they are doing.  And came be funny when people in engage and it just snowballs. Other than that, the rest are pretty much copy cats and try to hard.

I have no issue with simply recording the police and actually encourage it.  That's not the type of activity I'm referring to.

It's interesting (at least to me who doesn't pay a lot of close attention to the playoffs) that 3/4 games this weekend have wide spreads and the only close one has BAL favored over BUF who is playing at home.

Ridiculous roughing the passer penalty on HOU converts a failed third down for KC. On the same play the KC tackle was lined up way too far off the line but of course that isn’t called.

It sounds about right given the matchups, 3/4 games it seems pretty easy to predict the winner, I just have a hard time seeing an upset in any of them. But predicting by how much is obviously a bit trickier, I could see some of those games being closer than the spread suggests.

The way the Texans are playing D they could easily beat the spread if not win the game.

The Lions due to having 12 guys on defense on a key 4 & 2 at the 5 yard line give Washington a free first down and the Commanders score two plays later to go up 38-28 with 12 minutes left.

On the Lions third play of their next possession they run a trick play and WR Jameson Williams throws a pick (the Lions 4th turnover of the game).

Are the 15-2 Detroit Lions going to lose at home in their first playoff game?

Washington drives 66 yards after the INT and score to go up 45-28 with 7 and half minutes left.

Not sure what the spread ended at, but the blocked FG and safety prob made a lot of gamblers really, really, mad.

The Lions commit 5 turnovers and lose 45-31.

Washington is in the NFC Championship game for the first time in 34 year olds.

Wow man the Lions fans are CRUSHED, they really thought destiny was making it their year. Kinda feel bad for them.

This might unfortunately be a career defining game for Goff, that was no bueno

If you’re a WAS fan you have to be elated, to come out of the clusterfuck Snyder era and already get to this point is amazing. Also….do you think Snyder was rooting for them to win or lose? I’ll bet he’s seething.

Interesting thought: if the Bears take Daniels (which I thought it was obvious they should have) and WAS takes Caleb Williams l, how much different would their seasons have been? Maybe not that different than the way it worked out. The Bears probably ruin Daniel’s like they may have already done with Williams. Coaching and roster management matters in the NFL.

Also, per Adam Shefter:

With Washington’s win tonight, every NFC team other than the Dallas Cowboys now will have played in a conference championship game going back to the 1996 season.
