So much for the talk about the NFC North being weak and that they can't compete in the playoffs.

I can swallow the Lions and even the Bears winning in the playoffs or even a Super Bowl... but never, never Green Bay.

If Buffalo beats Pittsburgh tomorrow (as a 10 point favorite) the NFC North will be the only division with two teams left.

And if my knowledge is correct, they would FINALLY get KC in Buffalo (not the other way around).

It's impressive cause the NFC North had both teams playing this weekend compared to the AFC North.

Until Buffalo gets another major snowstorm next weekend and the NFL relocates the game to the people's stadium here in Mpls... 😉

I WOULD SO *ING GO.

But the alt-stadiums for this weekend's game were either Cleveland (which makes it a PIT home advantage) and Atlanta (WTF)? Yeah. The NY Governor was rather adamant the game remained in Buffalo. I love her for that.

A Buffalo home game was recently moved to Detroit (November 2022) so if there is bad weather in Buffalo next weekend maybe the game will be moved to Kansas City. The NFL likely wants to do anything they can to keep Taylor Swift mania alive. 😆

I know about the DET move, not happy about it, but whatever. If they take any home field away from BUF...FFS, just move it to the Meadowlands or whatever the heck it's called now.

I rather enjoyed one doofus on social media screaming that they should just play it as scheduled because “we didn’t delay d-day because of the weather!!”

I would call bs on that quote, but I have interacted with the internet, and well, yeah, that makes sense that someone would say that.

Sounds like the same moron a couple years ago comparing living under the flight paths at MSP airport to being at Pearl Harbor when the Japanese attacked.

I was going to say, wasn’t that one of the biggest complications with D-Day? That they had to delay it due to the weather and the tides/currents in the English Channel.

I was enjoying the crowd telling Buffalo they should "build a dome" because then everyone - players, staff, officials, concession workers, parking attendants, bus drivers, TV trucks full of equipment, the people to run the TV equipment, fans..... - would all magically get to the stadium for the game.  Are they thinking a Simpson's like dome over the city?

So Miami has never won a game with temps below 40 degrees will the NFL make playoff games at a neutral site so teams from the south don’t have to worry about playing in frozen conditions

Random thought but Goff is kinda lucky that one two handed backward pass he did while getting sacked didn’t bite him in the ass. He actually would’ve been better off taking the sack since they lost yards anyhow but it could’ve been way worse especially with how close that game ended up being. That said good for the Lions, Dan Campbell seems like a likable guy.

Miami would have had a home playoff game if they’d won at home in week 18…they have no one to blame but themselves.

Yes. KC isn't the KC of the last couple of years, IMO. Bills were down to CBs 4 and 5, and LBs 4 and 5 tonight. From the sounds of it, most should be healthy by next week.

Obviously there is still time for a comeback but a postmortem will show the Eagles quit when Hurts through an ole' block on the run prior to the safety.  PHI running back reverses back and Swift damn near hurt himself avoiding a block that could have allowed the RB to maybe get back to the line of scrimmage.

EDIT - Found it.  Probably not back to the LoS but the quit factor was evident.

They've been tremendous games overall. Time to take their turn on the road, though. I do think KC/BUF are the two best AFC teams in recent history. BALT is trying to take the crown, and there is an argument for them this year, but I dunno...they have flaws like anyone else.

Starts the season 10-1 and then Big Dom tries to be Barney Fife on the sidelines in the San Fran game. Since then they go 1-5 and probably end up going 1-6.  Couldn’t happen to a better city or fanbase.

Dallas was always a fraud this year. The only winning team they beat was PHI.

And that TD pass sums up PHI's last half of the season perfectly.
