Horrible missed block in the back on KC on that punt.

Suboptimal play by Cincy 58 on that run.

Pulling for Joey B but at the end of the day I’m in the “anyone but the Eagles” camp. I don’t really have much of a problem with the actual team but, like many, I can’t stand their fans. I will never understand a fan base that blatantly takes pride in their reputation of being a bunch of overly aggressive, obnoxious, drunk a-holes.

Looking at you North Dakota.

Do you think it might have something to do with the color of their team's jerseys?

These stripes are embarrassing. I hope Zac Taylor gets a few fines and belittles these embarrassments.

Interesting point. Hey wait a minute, the Packers wear green too! You might be on to something…

KC got the calls, esp that roughing the passer at the end, but honestly, KC outplayed CIN the whole time. I was rooting for CIN, to be honest. They just didn't have it tonight. KC earned that win.

Man, I know I said anyone but the Eagles but it’s going to be tough pulling for the Chiefs. KC was probably the better team but that officiating is was brutal. Plus, if anyone can rival the obnoxiousness of Eagles fans it’s Mahomes wife and brother. Actually kind of impressive that those two alone could almost make me switch up and pull for Philly.

The late hit out of bounds was the right call, I'm not complaining about that. Though I doubt it would've been called if roles were reversed with how incompetent the stripes where.  KC didn't outplay Ciny the whole time.  KC had their moments.  KC did get Burrow a lot, though Cincy's frontline wasn't allowed to hold like KC was getting by with.  Plus Cincy db's were not allowed to jockey KC receivers nearly like KC was. Like I said earlier in some posts, the stripes stood there and called grounding while the player that forced Burrow to ground, had his hands to face from the snap of the Cincy player. And the punt, a block right in front of a stripe and goes on called.  The list can go on like blatant holds on every play on KC's winning drive.  I'm glad I'm seeing it and hearing it on how bad the stripes were. Seeing on social media and hearing it on the radio. People are frustrated.

Another good one. I really didn't care who won the game, but I do say there were some head scratching penalties. The clock stoppage one was bizarre, even if it ultimately didn't make a difference.

The amount of social media fellatio going on over Brock Purdy in the last couple days/weeks/months is nauseating.  I realize that Josh Johnson is no Brock Purdy but Brock Purdy is no Joe Burrow or Pat Mahomes.  The Niners were NOT a shoe-in with him at the helm, the game would have been closer but I think the Eagles defense would have given Turdy plenty of problems throughout the game.

And yes...I do have something stuck in my craw because he came from Clown U in Ames.  Get off my lawn!!

I had the game on a side TV (no audio) while watching Glass Onion (awesome flick by the way) so wasn't privy to any officiating bias, but based on the Monday backlash it sounds like the crew suited up for KC last night.

Trading draft picks for coaches... lol!!! It's still mind boggling how Peyton is still allowed to be a NFL coach.  He should be banned for life.

Side note:

Denver went from +4000 to +2800 to win the Super Bowl with the Peyton news.

I'll believe it when I see it... Both him and Rodgers. Both have the biggest egos and want all the attention on them.

Agreed 100%. I am not convinced he is done until he doesn't show up to Week 1.

He won't be back.

As for Peyton I thought he was most recently unemployed?  Was he technically still under contract (was bought out?) thereby requiring draft picks to hire him?

I was wondering the same thing yesterday, so I looked it up...

Payton retired after the 2021 season, but had 4? years left on his contract, thus his rights were still controlled by New Orleans.

Why does the NFL even bother with kickoffs?  If you don't want kickoff returns anymore, just eliminate them.  Imagine someone from another country watching the Super Bowl.  Hours of hype and pre-game pageantry.  The ball is kicked off aaaaand... nothing.
