Ravens look really good.
Smart clock management by Buffalo to end the game in Baltimore.
Bad decision to go for it on 4th down by Bal.
Lots of armchair coaches from fans to commentators between some college games yesterday to some NFL games today.

Smart clock management by Buffalo to end the game in Baltimore.
That it was. What an exciting double-header with MN then Buffalo. Some friends and I bribed/paid off/etc the Sunday worker at LTD Brewing to open early, and on top of that, it was considered a "private party" until normal operating hours.
Buffalo does need to start actually playing in the first half. It cost them last week, and almost cost them today.
When you tell somebody somethin', it depends on what part of the United States you're standin' in... as to just how dumb you are.
SEA 48 - 45 DET Final That's Scorigami!! It's the 1073rd unique final score in NFL history.

Question answered. We hey have a grass field for Futbol and a turf field for Football. The grass field is rolled out so they can play Football on the turf field and which lies under the grass field. It’s really insane the money that is spent.
They spent the money at Tottenham with the intention of hosting NFL games. It’s quite the revenue stream for them. They play 19 homes futbol matches in the Premier League. Plus a handful here and there for European competition. Why not host 4 games a year and sellout the place? IIRC they were non too pleased in 2020 when the NFL decided to keep everything domestic.
QB3 alert! Bailey Zappe in for the Pats.

To be clear, they don't play futbol in England. Futbol is played in Spain.
Hot mic in the GB game! lol, "You gotta snap the f*in' ball!"

Romo calling out the late button pushing was funny.
“Oh wow, did you hear that? He said ‘you have to snap the ball’ and that’s it.”

Yeah, I don’t care.
Matt Stafford doing Matt Stafford things…terrible second half.

I think Tua could have been cleared by the entirety of the medical community and he’d be out this week after the backlash.

Because he never should have come back in versus BUF (and probably shouldn't have played against CIN).

Not going to argue that.
So let me get this right a receiver coming back to the ball jumps up, catches the ball in the air and his momentum carries him back another yard where he lands. He gets credit for that yard further forward where he caught it instead on the yard further back where he landed even though it’s not a catch until he touches both feet on the ground?

How are those grapes?
Looking like one of the best moves of the off-season was the Falcons trading Ryan, signing Mariota and drafting Ridder.
Just switched over to the Prime Vision broadcast, kinda cool.

I wouldn't care if the Bills lost to Teddy Time. I care about Tua possibly having his career ended/marred by a stupid decision.

Cincy will always be my fav helmet, but the retro Pats and Bucs helmets are legendary.

Retro Pats' logo is so HOF. I do love the creamsicles, though. Have me a Vinny TB jersey in that style. The only other one that I know about, among people I know is an Alvin Harper that a buddy bought. Yup. Alvin effing Harper.

The original Pats is glorious and was my favorite 2nd logo until I realized you can't have a 2nd team in the NFL and be taken seriously.

You can, sort of. Can't call yourself a fan, but you won't be angry if they win (unless it directly affects your team). I root for the Vikings that way, since a majority of my friends are Vikes fans. I'm happy to see them succeed, but I'm not on that bandwagon whatsoever.

No. Abandoning a team (especially conveniently when bad) for something sexier or a brand name player is lame. Sorry.

I never abandoned a team. I chose the Bills in my youth (1986), due to Jim Kelly, who is a (to use an old-fashioned phrase) man's man. Stuck with them through their VERY crappy years (last NFL team to make the playoffs in the 2000s...), and still with them now.

Giants beating Packers right now 27-20 in the 4th out scored packers 17-0 in the second 1/2
Aloha!
Who had the Giants being 4-1 after 5 weeks and beating the Packers?
I was going to write what a terrible shame it is that Packerland had to wake up early with hangovers to watch their team go down in flames under the shadow of the Union Jack, but that would have been silly.
Most of them were probably still drunk.

I mean….I was too.
That roughing the passer call on Atlanta is maybe the worst penalty call I've ever seen in any sport. Just openly favoring Tom Brady
who will be the 1st Head coach fired this season, CHI,DET, SEA.PIT?
Aloha!
who will be the 1st Head coach fired this season, CHI,DET, SEA.PIT?
I’d say none of those. Most likely WAS or HOU.

Denver. HOU is a hot mess, everyone knows it, so he lasts. Tomlin...give him a year or two. THEN he's on the hot seat. DET had the highest scoring offense this year, until today's sh*burger. CHI is rebuilding, so they'll have patience. I guess SEA would be a dark horse. Raiders, though....

Pittsburgh rarely changes head coaches, and no way they fire Tomlin during the season. Pete Carroll won't be fired during the year either. After the year, it is anybody guess as of now.
I would say Carolina's coach will be the 1st to go.
I'm 50% factual and 50% sarcastic. When you get to know me, you will know which is which.
Rhule will be fired tomorrow

Pittsburgh as a NFL franchise has had only 3 head coaches, Noll, Cowher and Tomlin. Pretty amazing, cause most NFL teams have had 3 head coaches in the last 10 years.

My bad… since the Super Bowl era, they’ve had 4.

Until Chuck Noll the Steelers were a horrible franchise. Interesting tidbit, hall of famer Johnny "Blood" McNally coached them in the late '30s and McNally later went on to coach at St. John's University in the early '50s. When he left he told the incoming coach "no one can when at SJU."
He could not have been more wrong...the next coach was John Gagliardi.

Prior to SJU, Gagliardi was at Carroll College in Helena (Mt) for 3 years.
A Colorado College grad. Coached basketball and football at Carroll. And hockey and football at SJU.

He’s still owed $40 million on his 7 year deal
Wow. That's almost enough to retire!
