Down goes Bama. Hate to see it. And TN is having a season
I was coming home from church pulling in out driveway, Tennesse was driving and heard the ball was deflected and Bama had an INT. I come in the house turned the Tv on and it was tied at 49... lol!!!
Oklahoma is the reason why preseason polls and polls for the first 3 weeks of the season are a joke. Oklahoma was preseason #9 all because of their name.
Notre Dame can join this list of being preseason ranked only because of their name.

Well Iowa finally put Alex Padilla in at QB...against one of the best teams in the nation after halftime in a game that was over in the first half. I can't wait for the Ferentz's quotes next week in which they will say that Padilla didn't show enough to earn a start against Northwestern. ?

I am curious why Alex hasn't transferred if he hasn't been given a fair chance by the Iowa coach/es?

I don't know the answer to that question. Iowa did lose one QB(Deuce Hogan to Kentucky) to the transfer portal last spring so I would think that Alex thought he had a fair chance to be the starter versus Petras. The love affair of Brian Ferentz and Petras has been well documented and has shown it's lack of success on the playing field.
I know that some people point to last seasons successes for Iowa but that was because of Tyler Goodson as the running back, not Petras having success in the passing game. So it was a matter of Petras not losing games last season where his lack of success this year and a lack of a running game has shown the offensive woes for Iowa can not be overcome by a great defense.
As shown today when the offense can't stay on the field Iowa's defense will wear down when they are on the field more than the offense. Iowa football is just a hot mess this season.

Horrible, horrible call stands on a 4th and goal TD attempt for Purdue against Wisconsin. Ball was well short and called a TD (somehow confirmed by replay). Get rid of replay and fire these refs if they couldn’t figure this out. Brutal.
Well the sun shines on a dog's behind some days...and Iowa's offense can score points for a convincing win over Northwestern. Even though Iowa had four FG it was still the offense that put them in that position. Petras..wasn't horrible. Now this is just my perspective after watching the highlights of the game since I was otherwise engaged in my son's section semi-final game.
I still see AT MOST two wins left on Iowa's schedule. I would really enjoy it though if they stumbled and missed getting a bowl game. Just another nail, hopefully, in the coffin for some much needed changes in the Iowa coaching room.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Michigan get a second tunnel in the near future. Mich. State this past weekend, couple weekends ago Penn State players were throwing P, B & J sandwiches, last year Ohio State and Michigan can face-to-face and the list goes on... Yes it's a old stadium, but something needs to be done.

Unless they are going to remove a block of seats they literally can't. I don't know if you have ever been there but the way the stadium is built there isn't anywhere to just add a second tunnel.

Never been in the Big House, but have seen plenty of games on TV so I have a good idea. I know several older stadiums have very small and narrow entrances for the visitors. Reminds me of cattle corral, very narrow and tight, maybe one to two players at most wide. That wouldn't take up more than 3-4 seat wide (Big House is benches) and 3-4 rows. So your looking at roughly 16-20 seats.
I think there will also be criminal charges coming. Two Michigan players were assaulted. I have no idea if they started it or not. But one video shows a MSU player swinging a helmet at the helmetless head of a Michigan player. For those who have not held a football helmet in a while, they are quite heavy and very hard.
Plenty of police in the tunnel who surprisingly do absolutely nothing. I am curious why they are even there if they can’t help at all in a situation like this.
The one video I saw was Michigan State as a team was entering the tunnel and Michigan was following. The Michigan player who's in the video being beat up is running up the tunnel by himself along the State players. Who knows what was said and what was not said. Or his motive for running along the State players by himself. Was he looking to cause trouble or could he have been looking for a State player to talk too. Like all sports, these players know each other for so many reasons. So, who knows what went down outside of the camera's eyes.
I think there will also be criminal charges coming.
Agree... Something needs to be done with all this BS going on in sports. From players, to fans, to parents... Start hammering down on all these occurrences. Start setting examples with major fines and/or charges. Start making examples out of these occurrences and not just a slap on the wrist.

Man did they have problems with the shoot gun snap. I lost track at one point but I think they gave up 3 TDs and 2 safeties because of bad snaps. At least once the QB didn't even really try to recover it in his own end zone and just let the defender have the TD.

I mean it was raining and 35-45mph winds. There were like 150 passing yards total in the game. When I saw that forecast I knew it was going to be ugly.

In order for Bama to make the SEC championship game they now needs to win at Ole Miss and beat Auburn at home along with LSU losing at Arkansas and at Texas A&M. LSU now has the tiebreaker over both Ole Miss & Bama.
