It’s going to happen and how the 4 quarterfinals played out… wouldn’t be surprised if it does.

12 is already too many but they’re certainly not gonna go to less games.

This isn't of course fully in context, but to give some indication of what it takes in the early stages of the NIL era...

The Buckeyes have the best roster in college football by a country mile, one that athletic director Ross Bjork bragged cost them more than $20 million to keep together.

NIL, Transfer Portal, opt-outs….I still watch college sports but the lines are blurred. It's commonplace now for an announcer to refer to a player as "...a transfer from..."

It seems recruiting hardly matters much anymore. If you get a couple nice players and the team falters, they bolt. If your team sucks, you go trolling the portal to cover your recruiting mistakes. Hockey teams like MI State have several players from various schools who have put them over the top.  This is just the beginning.
